I'm pretty sure it is not real (no pun intended) and even if it was I think it would be a bad move for Sandro right now. He has said how much the English style of footbal suits his game, he needs to continue to work hard to force his way into our side permanently and changing countries again would be a big ask.

I don't think we would sell him though.

Buying and selling in Europe is not a bad thing as it shows our level. KPB has proven that we have players come through that are very good. Its when clubs are jumping up and down for Bostock, Townsend, and others will I know that our program is really working.

Look Taarbat he has been a revelation in with QPR. Spurs bought him early promised him the same deal as KPB and it all went sour! I suspect that Commili made promises he could not keep and Jol got the ruff end of it!

Where as Harrys says about Sandro, Ive not seen him heard he is good and may be we will play him or loan him. Sandro looked good day one but still had to change his game to adapt to the pressure of the prem!

Now he is a star and half ! I personally would love him to stay and sell Jenas who has gone as far as he go with the club.

Not sure if it was ever printed anywhere, or it was something that we had in house from him.

So Jose Mourinho, one of the shrewdest managers around who works to the finest details is going around shouting about his transfer targets?

Don't buy this.

Anyway, how can Real 'take' him off of us, when the journos have already decided that it is right that Barca should 'take' him off of us.

Because, y'know, Spurs can't have a good player with them trrying to arrange for him to go to a 'better' team. Forget the concept of building a team, and therefore becomine one of the better teams, meaning our players will already be at a better team.
Our current crop must be sending these journos' metabolisms into overdriveEek

The purchase of Sandro really gave me hope for our future. We did a lot of scouting ground-work and were very patient in first getting his signature and then introducing him to the first team. It's much more typical of the way Alex Ferguson operates then Harry but we have landed ourselves a real asset rather than an overpriced, over-hyped English journeyman.

I really hope that we keep hold of him. If we don't then a big chunk of the profit should go into scouting the foreign leagues that we don't normally look to. Unearthing just one Sandro makes it all worthwhile...both from a playing and a financial perspective.

Cant see it, anyway Sandro has only just arrived and is now getting game time.

I hope he has a big future here with us.

Harry got lucky with Sandro in the same manner as he got lucky with Bale, as he had no options left but to play them when he appeared more than happy to leave them out. Unfortunately Taarabt and KPB never got a chance under Redknapp. The same treatment appears to be applied to Bostock.

Forget trying to get Charlie Adam, Joe Cole, Phil Neville and Craig Bellemy, when there are youngsters far superior already under his nose.

I'm sure Harry does his scouting at 10.30pm every Saturday night curled up on the sofa with Jamie.

Think that is a little harsh.

Would have been pretty foolish to launch Sandro straight in when he was new to the country and the league and had just finished the Confedirations cup. I was actually very pleased that he was eased in gently.

Let's not forget also that Harry's record in bringing through youngsters isn't that bad but he can only do it if the quality is there.

I accept what you're saying, but in reality it comes down to wages. No good being one of the 'better' teams if we pay a good whack less than the other better teams.

But we will be able to increase our wages if we are successful.
Wages are carefully structured to fall within percentages of total income. As the income increases the wages increase. With regular CL revenue :)pray:) and a larger stadium we will be able to pay more.
