Absolutely right. The do a Leeds brigade need to get a grip.

Fact is, Levy has no ambition to invest.

Hmmm how much did he invest in the training ground..... Hmmm how much is he investing in the new stadium? You sir, need to catch a grip! I thought you were going to go to sleep and not wake up till 2018?

WTF are you talking about? He is still paying for it, its still an investment, I doubt his monthly morgage repayments are anywhere near what some pay on their house? When you get a mortgage you are still in debt for the amount of that mortgage, it will effect the rest of your finances and the budget which you work with. But wait I suppose you would of applied for a buy now pay later deal on the trianing ground and stadium..... You might have got a free fountain pen!

You no idea what you're talking about.

Please explain, your implying that ENIC have not invested in the club and that somehow the training ground and stadium have no effect on our finances. I would say you are the one that doesn't know what they are talking about.

we aren't going to compete by wasting the best part of 40m on c+ talent like alderweireld and mccarthy. we cannot buy established top class players but we can develop our own and buy players with top class potential, i wish fans would just get on board with this way of thinking rather than pressuring the club into this short-term black hole strategy of buying serviceable but not outstanding players.

Exactly, seems the club is dammed if they do and dammed if they don't. The only money I would really like spent this summer is on a striker, not someone who would hinder Kane's progress but someone pacey who could cover both Kane and play as a wide/inside forward with a goal threat. If we can't get in an established midfileder with world class potential then dont bother we have talent coming through and think we should be using it.

We are Tottenham Hotspur, not Auxerre or Crewe Alexandra.

So we shouldn't be developing our own players? You would prefer us to buy them? Hmmmmmm I;m startign to think you gotta be a troll right?

Give me a player like Kane who has ties with us and WE have developed over a £20-30M signign anyday.

people say football is about players but as far as I can recall the best teams had the best managers
note bill Nicholson at spurs;brian clough derby and notts forest;fergie at Aberdeen and man unt there are others but the point I am making is that some clubs will get success because they have untold wealth and money does not come into the argument the monied teams will keep on scooping up the best players in the world and to my mind does not leave any real legacy
football history remembers the Nicholson team and the clough teams also the fergie teams as well as shankley;paisley at Liverpool and dare I say it wenger at arsenal ;my sons go on about burkenshaw at spurs
the legacy that city and Chelsea have is a winning one but to my eyes very hollow
we can only hope that pochettino will prove to be the next billy nick or burkie or Arthur rowe
these people had winning teams with not in most cases the best players
we can only hope that poch will be in the mould of one of the managers who can build a side that is successful without the top costing or earning players unlike the morhinos or van gaals or anchelloto;s of this world who are winners but always by buying the costliest players on the highest wages
even I could achieve success with the remit of the filthy rich clubs

So let me think.

Falcao flopped. All Liverpool signings flopped. Balotelli anyone.

We spent big post Bale. Flops

A lot of water to go under the bridge.
