I know some people don't like these guys, but thought it was interesting they were saying their source was still confident.

I think that just backs up we have an offer in for him and he’s happy with it. Doesn’t mean he isn’t happy with one of the other teams too.

Well if you remember their source was very confident. Whereas some reports even said we didn't even make an offer.

All a bit strange isn’t it. It could just still be the case that we have an offer in which we think is good enough, don’t feel the need to go back and change it and he hasn’t decided yet.

Would love it if we’ve colluded with Eriksen to mess with Utd’s transfer window, so by the time he tears off the Brentford shirt to show the lilywhite he’s been wearing all along it’s too late for them to sign a decent playmaker.

I assume his contract runs until June 30th so he's still contracted to Brentford until then so I wouldn't expect anything to happen until he is no longer, officially, a Brentford player.

What about the one from a few weeks ago? Unless it’s been withdrawn of course.
No official offer!!! Plenty of talks and things were looking good then it appears his agent was saying one thing to us, whilst actively trying to raise interest elsewhere.

On the terms we were being told he'd come for it was worth pursuing, he's not seen as anything more than a good opportunity on those terms and when his agent decided he was going to up the stakes we walked away.

Wouldn't call it dead, but we won't be dragged into a bidding war over someone Conte would have been happy with but not pushing for.

Wish him all the best, i have no doubt we will regret the decision not to take him.
I’d only regret not signing him if he scores against us costing us a cup or a league position.
The rest will be will be.
I wish nothing but the best for him too.

There is no offer on the table for Eriksen. I'm very sure of that.
If its a verbal agreement with DL, then maybe a formal offer will be made once he's back.
To be honest it would make sense if something was agreed before he went on hols, so that he could just chill and relax. Although, i wouldn't mind the stress of choosing which club to play at next on c£200k a week.
