I have not a single fuck to give. He wanted out from us before, and has chased the money now, so to me he's just another player!

It's a sickener.

Good luck to him, just not against us. I'm sure he's doing what's best for him and his family. This contract probably sets him up for life.

Will be interest to see where he fits in there. With De Jong likely joining and De Beek and Bruno already there I'm interested to see how they fit them all in. They probably need a Fred/McTominay in the midfield for balance so that's 4 players for 2 positions. That said I think he's better than Bruno and VdB in terms of quality so should be fine.
De Jong isn’t joining them

Waiting for other offers? See if a champions league team pops up?
I said this a month or so ago when he didn't seem to be coming here. He's waited as long as possible to move before his pre-season is significantly disrupted, and I think that ties in with the rumours/ITK that Conte didn't think he was committed enough. You get the impression he wasn't keen on any of his options, including us, and now we've pulled out United are his best option. Personally, I think he was waiting to see if one of the top Spanish clubs would come in for him.

I'm not sad that Eriksen isn't joining us.

I am sad that he's joining United. I really didn't want to see him in that shirt. Wrong on every level.

Can't fault him for taking a big pay day. Shame he didn't give another season to Brentford though.

As much as I wanted him back, I think Conte has a clear plan for what he wants in the squad and Eriksen just doesn't fit in.

I’m just glad Christian is still alive after what we saw unfold on our TV screens last summer. Good luck and good health to him for the rest of his life.

Could’ve been a romantic return… but not to be…happy to be able to see him continue playing albeit with the Manx

Not bothered about this one, especially since I'm pretty sure we're far from done this window. Seems like he's taken them to the cleaners on wages etc., and rather them than us in that respect.

Money talks.

He’s obviously been attracted by the pay day and length of the contract.

It can’t be about the football ambition.

My united mate isn’t happy with this. Not because of Eriksen just that united should get away from signing these big name 30+ players.

Unfortunately he'll fit in perfect alongside the abundance of quality youngsters they have.

I think Utd will be eating at the top table once again under ETH.

I think they will be much better. However, they will struggle with the physicality unless they bring in some solid midfielders/FBs.

The Ronaldo issue needs resolving fast too.
