Considering Conte wants titles and we're back in the CL I would consider that a major new challenge. Not sure who else would be considered in those terms.

Pedulla is the journalistic equivalent of pissed old boy down the pub who “knows a guy”. I’ll hold my breath for someone else
He's tier 1 per False 9 website, alongside Romano and Ornstein.
I assume that's based on some form of credibility but it could just be the old tried and tested stick a finger in the air method. Did he break the Conte story?

He'd be a great free signing. Knows the club and Conte. Another season in the UCL.
It would make sense with his heart problem last year that Spurs want him in early to do the full gamut of tests. Maybe he will be missing from Austria game. We'll see.

I don’t know what false 9 is but Pedulla is a ‘throw shit against the wall and see what sticks’ journo.

Someone in the thread above posted the story he put out the other day about Bayern enquiring about Kane. He gets a few Italian club to Italian club transfer scoops right, but why he’d know this or break it before UK or Danish journos makes no sense. Wait for someone on either of those ends I’d say, it’s safer.

Then it will come from Di Marzio, Fab or one of the inter tier 1s at a push. Not Pedulla. He’s not broken a story for us yet in the Conte era.

If Eriksen does come back I hope nobody starts thinking Pedulla is somehow reliable. He just fires 100 stories out there on things which might happen so that when one sticks, people think he has insight.

I won't lie I'm really concerned about the issues he had. I know nothing about whatever caused it or what he has fitted but the fact he has to have that was really alarming to me at the time.
LOL. You're really concerned but also know nothing about it. Maybe A) Don't get concerned with things you don't understand or B) Try to read up on his issues and then decide whether to be concerned or not.

Eriksen on for the last 15 minutes against Austria... the danish commentators just said that they expect him to find a new club. Maybe in London... and mentioned a return to Tottenham ? ... hardly breaking ITK.. but still.

Paul O’Keefe on Twitter Spaces just very quietly in the background, when talking about the Nations League having an impact on transfers, said “when do denmark play” (or words to that effect). ? ?

It's not groundbreaking but early doors we were very confident, then it went very quiet so I presumed it was dead, and then over the last week it's picked up again. I would now be shocked if he didn't sign for us.

Looks like Eriksen, Spence, LCB, CM & S will be the 5 coming in on top of the two we've brought in already. Then I wouldn't be surprised if we brought another 1/2 in depending on sales.

Really would be wonderful work if all that happened.

Spence and Eriksen this week would be excellent business.

LCB - would have loved Bastoni but there does actually seem to be a lot of good options out there. I'd be very tempted at the potential Lo Celso/Torres deal.

McKennie feels like a potential Paratici special with Pogba heading there.

I've also really talked myself into the Richarlison deal so I'd love it if we could have positive movement on that this week.

Something along those lines would make us a serious threat across all competitions IMO.
