I still want Erik ten Hag as our first choice. Think his style of play would be best for our team.

You put my screaming sick child to sleep and I’ll go make a call.
For anyone else raging at the moment may I suggest an hour of singing this through gritted teeth?

Not really, it’s clear he’s a quality manager but it had gone stale and rightly or wrongly, players seemed to have got fed up of the same face for 5 1/2 year and not knowing the tactics
If you think he's a quality manager, surely you'd rather keep him and move out players who aren't performing and/or fed-up? Most of the team that's been here for most of his tenure will gone next year anyway, so that won't be a problem for much longer.

I'd expect a Mourinho announcement tonight or first thing in the morning followed by a host of pics showing him taking charge at training.

Came across slightly bitter towards end of interview on SSN when he started talking about knowing we talked to Rogers and Anchelloti when he was sacked..
made me giggle when he said he knew Levy had been talking to Rogers and Ancelotti before he was sacked, seemed fairly honest to me

Such a sad ending for such a great figure in our history. Good luck Poch I think he needed a new challenge and pretty much admitted it. In modern times all the top managers only last two or three years before going or being pushed so his tenure is a long one.

I just found out. Thought they would give him a couple more games. Just shows how much the club needs CL football.

You only really need to look at Arsenals and Utd’s financial reports to see how much big clubs need CL football. Poch was right last year about CL being a priority over cups, it not him being wrong, is just the sad state of the game and him spelling out home truths.

All these reports about managers being open to the job...it is utter tripe. As we all know it will be announced tomorrow and the deal is done. so for once will the media just let it go and accept they knew sod all about this!

Such a sad day. A shame that we, the fans, didn't get a proper chance to say goodbye to him and thank him for his efforts.

He has given me/us the greatest Spurs supporting moments with the title challenges, consecutive CL qualification and CL run. Made me love supporting the team again.

Massive respect to him. Hope he gets a well deserved rest as looks like he needs one.

Most of us are in a weird position. Deep down we knew we have been shit this entire year. We love Poch. But deep down I think we knew we needed a change

Our preference was for new owners but as the owners wont sack themselves it's the only option
We're in a year-long malaise and there were absolutely no indications that Poch knew how to get us out of it. Not even a glimmer. It's horrible after how he has transformed the club but I'm sure it had to happen.

I love the fact that you've clearly been scrolling back through the official Spurs Twitter feed for at least the last 45 mins to dig that out and make that joke. That's commitment.

Nah I just stole it off some fucker off reddit.

Sad day but right decision- it’s been nigh on 12 months and is getting worse

This is the worst decision the club has made in a long time. Allowed veteran players to fester and poison the club and instead of getting rid of them we get rid of the one good thing we have. Shit decision. Shit situation. And yeah, we still have shit fullbacks. Fml
