On sale now, with no details on website.

Season ticket holders only, so you can't sit with members you may want to sit with.

And no loyalty system, so could well end up sitting in block 4 million and 2.

Shambles.

Application, based on loyalty points, with most loyal getting the better seats, if they want them. How fucking hard is it. Instead, got to sit in an hour queue.

They change it EVERY time.

How many people don't know they've gone on sale? Hundreds I reckon.

Just be lucky you can get tickets. For many fans who don't live near London they stand no hope of ever going to such an event.

It's not really about being 'lucky' but loyal. Most London fans support London clubs. If people have moved away or were born out of London fair enough, but then that's the price they pay for not supporting a team near to where they live.

I wouldn't confuse loyalty with locality they aren't mutually exclusive imo.

I'd just like the chance to even go to a final!

Queueing for a ticket, or not having the best seat doesn't really sound like a bad deal.

I'm not. If fans don't go to games, then why do they deserve priority over or parity with fans that do?

Look if fans live in Telford or Timbuktu, then they have made that decision and can't whine when they don't get a ticket if they haven't been supporting their team on a cold Tuesday night at home to Stoke. Or a sunny Saturday afternoon for that matter.

I'm not a season ticket holder or a member so stand bugger all chance of getting tickets unless I pay silly money.

I've gone so far as entering competitions to win tickets...that really is clutching as straws.

Well done to those who have got theirs and good luck to those still queuing...when you get there sing up, so I can hear you, watching from my local or lounge (y)

Still, when there's thousands and thousands of people wanting to go that won't be able to get a ticket, moaning about a bit of queuing and not being able to sit at first row with your member friends seems a bit over the top.

Twice I got to the payment page, where you put your security code in, and I get chucked out after entering it. I have to start all over again now

No I don't think so. It shouldn't be difficult to run a simple system online for such a large company and I am sure there are ways in which tickets can be sold together for friends/families who are STH and members. But if that isn't the case, then fair enough. E-software and ticket practicalities aren't my areas of expertise. But I just don't agree that STH are 'lucky' to get tickets. They are loyal and deserve them.

I'm sorry but I moved abroad for family reasons and as a result there is no way I can get to enough games ever to even stand a chance. Whilst I understand the view-point that those who have shown the most loyalty deserve a good crack of the whip, I still feel it would be nice if a proportion of the Final tickets were assigned via a lottery where any Fan-club member could apply.

Not all of those who go on a rainy Sunday in the middle of winter are better for the atmosphere!! I have been to WHL a fair few times and sat with the most miserable ST holders on the planet. In fact you could just as easily argue that those who rarely get to go to a game are more likely to be bang up for it and shout their hearts out.

It would also help if they flipping well allocated more tickets away from Corp types who have ZERO interest in being there for the game but just because they can, but that is a separate discussion.

I've frozen my ass off in several shitholes around the UK, and I got enough points to get a ticket as a member. Accumulating those points from Norway has cost me a great deal more than someone just strolling up to WHL every other weekend with the season ticket they made back from StubHub in two-three games. So if you want to talk about loyalty, I don't think locality should be dismissed.

Fair enough and you deserve one then.

But this highlighted bit is unfair. I am not sure how many members do that and I- speaking from personal experience- know that many STH don't just stroll up to WHL. It takes up a significant amount of time and cost to go to Spurs every week.

Yes, not being able to sit with my Dad, who doesn't want to sit alone as he had a stroke last year, but has been going since 1963, and has a zillion more loyalty points than many season tickets, is definitely over the top.

I was under the impression from the announcement last week that this is just the Season Ticket holders period for claiming their ticket for the final. Then next week there is an application period for members. There is no On Sale period as such, as the tickets will only be allocated after the application periods are over and all season ticket holders who claimed a ticket have got theirs, and all remaining tickets have been allocated to members based on loyalty points.

a) If my understanding of the above is correct, then there is no reason for anyone to queue for ages to claim their ticket, as no preference is given to claims/applications at the start/middle/end of each period (so if its busy first thing, just log off and try again that afternoon or evening when I'd imagine the website is less busy). If you have 250 loyalty points and you apply 10 minutes before the application period closes, you will still get a ticket, while someone with 50 points who applied when the windo open still will not.

b) Loyalty points is the only fair way to allocate tickets for an event of this nature. It is also the least stressful way for fans as many already know whether or not they are going (members in the 120-150 loyalty point bracket are probably in the maybe column), even though they do not know where they will be sitting or how much their ticket will cost.

Am I right or have I missed something stupid?

For the last 4-5 wembley games, you only needed about 180 loyalty points, which is 30-50 games depending if you cherry picked big ones. i.e fuck all in the scheme of things.
