He's got a cheeky face and you can tell he's full of mischief.

Great character to have off field and then a hard nut on it who can play. Perfect combination.

He could be like Roy Keane, but with a sense of humour.

Contrast to Dier who clearly doesn't get amused easily haha

Chap I know who claims to know his agent (I can't vouch for this) said his agent thinks it won't be long before he moves on to somewhere else, sees us as a stepping stone.

Any truth to that, would you know? I'm as keen to put my gobby mate down as anything. Ta.
That's not what I've heard.
He's loving it at Spurs and won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

After going to the game on Sunday with my mate that knows Dele, was interesting to hear a bit more about his time at Spurs so far. Poch is a massive believer in player mechanics to prevent injuries and Dele didn't kick a ball in training for about a month when he first joined. It makes sense, as hardly any of our first team have struggled with injury, other than the in game contact injuries. Dele loves it at Spurs, especially working for Poch and won't be angling for a move anytime soon.

Dishing out these pay rises at the moment, wouldn't be surprised if they offer Kane another one.

Must've been alot of clubs sniffing around in the window as they were all on long contracts apart from Eriksen, Lamela and Vertonghen

Didn't expect another new deal quite so soon, as suggested there may well have been clubs sniffing around him in the summer, so it makes sense.
I still do not understand the amount of criticism the kid gets by some on here, if he was at any other club we'd be creaming ourselves over him.

It was as inevitable after Eric signed a new deal, no way was Dele not going to after that.

Yeah it's one of my favourite things reading the anti Dele Alli posts. They're really funny.

I agree. He has the odd bad game but what player doesn't, especially at his age. He needs to work on stuff as any youngster would, like concentration etc but he's been nothing short of amazing for us considering the price and low expectation when we signed him. My main criticism of him last year was bits of showboating he was doing, like when we were only 1 goal up, he'd walk the ball down the line a couple of times instead of running with it. I imagine Poch laid into him cos he hasn't done it since. He's more mature now, he's got fire in his belly but is slowly learning how to deal with potential heated situations, like the Adam tackle last week. He'll only improve, he has amazing vision and an eye for a goal.

Very happy that he's signed on for longer.
