Stints at DM did the likes of King, Ferdinand & Campbell no harm at all. Dier may not end up in the same class bracket as those guys but he will still be a top player IMHO.

Superb news. Makes financial and footballing sense.

Dier is not just a good prospect IMO, he is In terms of how he'll progress, but he is also a good player now. He is also versatile.

Rightly rewarded I think he will be a key player for us this year and moving forwards.

King had explosive pace.
Wasn't their a report last year that he is the fastest in the club over 50 yards or something? Ledley was never explosive imo, he was really quick once he got going though. Dier is rapid but like ledley and most big players they don't accelerate like a lennon or sterling.

Ledley was freakishly rapid before the knees gave out - just ask Henry and Robben.
