Isn't he similar to a couple of players Arsenal already have i.e. Rosiky/The tricky spanish chap (i need to watch more football) don't really understand why Arsenal would need him.
Rosicky is crap and more of a central player, Cazorla is quality but Bernard and him would compliment each other well as they can both play right across the 3 attacking mid positions
reckon Bernard will cost close to 30 million euros tbh as Neymar just went for 57 mil

I'd say Rosicky got them 4th place last year and on his day is one of the best midfielders in the premiership. is it a coincidence they went on a ridiculous streak of no losses when rosicky came back into fitness? i don't think so
FUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKK UUUUUUUUUUUUUU LOOOOTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ROSICKY IS CRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When did you try to explain to me in more detail? Your reply had one line in it going on about how I thought I was an expert.
I don't know about you but I sure am confused now. Enjoy the rest of the sunny Friday mate and I'll go back to browsing/lurking
Sorry, don't let me put you off posting, football is all about opinions and message boards are there for people to voice them, I just thought you hadn't understood the point I was making looking at your initial response. no harm done, besides I'm used to people disagreeing with me I've been married over 30 years

Well, Barry: seems like you have been creating a bit of a stir around here.... too much sangria and sun, old boy!!
Not that you need me to defend you in any way, but maybe it is a good time to roll out this article of the future of football trends and formations - again people can disagree with it but I think it does make interesting reading, especially if one takes into account that it is proposed by a World Cup winning coach.

Maybe AVB is heading towards a fluid 4 ahead of 2 defensive???? i.e. 4-2-4-0 as a 4-6-0 hybrid, especially with the athletic strong runners we'll have (if all fit) in midfield??
One of the early differing voices made a valid point on players getting in each others' way: I'd agree EXCEPT the players we seem to heading towards are not the dumb English (sorry) lacking technique players of the past (with notable exceptions - you know who they are), especially if we get Bernard (I'd rather spunk £20m on him than Benteke: can't comment on Lamela (sp) as never seen him).
Nothing concrete, but he's a Brazilian playmaker, so people want to believe...Have we actually been linked to him recently?
