Roger Morgan, an ITK I trust probably more that any other, has said on the board I tend to frequent more than any other, that we have made an enquiry for Alan Dzagoev, but his club are 'hard to deal with'.

This is more than a little disappointing. I think he's top top quality and would be a briiliant signing for us. His performances in the Euro's were first class.

Fingers crossed as time whittles down over the next week, we can encourage his club to lighten up a bit and let him go. Money talks, so let's please start chatting cash, ASAP.

Buying Dzagoev with the limited funds we have would be a huge mistake. He plays the exact same position as Van der Vaart and Sigurdsson. The only way I could see him being brought in, is if Rafa is sold, which would be very worrying.

The answer to our biggest needs, a deep-lying playmaker and striker, are actually teammates of Dzagoev's, but we haven't been linked with them lately. Too bad, because Honda and Doumbia would both be perfect signings for us.

Honda would be spunktastic. What I've seen of him has been brilliant

Mistake. Not that he's a poor player but we have already bought Sigurdsson. And while he can play on the wing it's not his best position. He scored goals in the Euros but that was about it, he didn't impress me much from the right.

Isco for me if we must buy another attacking mid, as I think he can be molded into a deep player and he's a much better winger already than Dzagoev.
