Used to be 'we don't pay enough wages', 'we'll never compete with our stadium', 'we have to win something'. Now, we pay very good wages. We have a great stadium. Thanks Enic.

Now we have to win something. Over to you, Poch.

He wasn't backed? Check Hoddle's post Ajax comments. Enic offered money, Poch didn't want to spend.

Enic's fault.

I 100% believe Poch was/has been given a decent budget.

We went for De Jong with decent money (confirmed by player) but when he decided he wanted to go to Barca, Poch should have gone for Grealish. I reckon he has been sulking personally. Unrealistic- few clubs get first choices all the time

The Club didn’t back Poch? What about Poch not backing the Club? We pretty much fluke our way to the CL final and suddenly we hear from Poch that maybe it’s job done and time for something new. Whether he likes it now or not, this is his team, his squad and, frankly, his mess to sort out.

ENIC & Levy are 90% of the problem!
it is time for them to go... had enough and how they are getting away so lightly is a joke.
Yes we have a lovely stadium but to be honest I would have WHL back and the form we were showing in 2015/2016
They didnt improve when we had to - look at how far Liverpool have pulled away from us.
We have won 1 trophy in 20 years....
Poch has worked miracles but clear the players have had enough now with his philosophy and he probably doesn't want to be here anymore either and is waiting for the inevitable
Such a shame but this is the situation we have got use to with Levy and ENIC and how I would dream of a oil man like city got.... I just wish as for all those saying they dont want that and want to do things the right way - its about winning and are we really going to win anything under ENIC? I think we all know the answer, our best squafd in years didn't manage to win a thing.

Don't worry, I know it's 8 defeats, meant 5 of those have happened under ENIC.

Just to clarify, my post isn't 'ENIC Out' just stating the obvious, everything has been very impressive during their reign, bar one thing, trophies, which has been all but nonexistent.

Whilst competition has been extremely strong it also had its faults (think 2015/16) and the club has sadly failed to take advantage of that like Liverpool have (Man Utd and Man City can still outspend the Merseysiders for a giggle). I think the summer of 2016 was a big missed opportunity, had we signed Mane and batshuayi, instead of N'koudou and Jansen things could've been and be very different. Sadly, we'll never know.
It’s almost like Stockholm syndrome and the children of the corn combined.

Who ever is manager Enic are going to have to dig deep into the pockets over certainly the summer transfer window and hopefully the January window to replace the players who are going to be leaving on a free transfer and also to replace likes of (Rose,Aurier,KWP, with real quality players. This isn’t going to be a cheap rebuild and likely to have to take big hit on the net spend..

Thing against Comolli wasn’t that he didn’t target good talent or attract it but that he had too much power and didn’t build a functional team.

Joel asked for an experienced defender and centre mid and got a very young Kaboul and KPB.

He signed modric, berbatov ,woodgate, etokou, rose ,gnomes,Pavlyuchenko.

ENIC delivered world class training facilities, a world class stadium and the player investment that was sufficient to reach a CL final. Maybe ENIC is not the problem?

I know there's been some revisionism to suggest our squad self-managed itself to the CL final, but are you suggesting that it was only the players and/or ENIC's 'investment' that led us there?

Otherwise if Poch gets a smidgen of credit for the run (first and only in our history) it might suggest bombing him out a few games into the following season is pretty harsh.. Or does he get no credit at all?

I don't think we can dispute your first two points however we can also ask, do those world class facilities have a world class youth system, or a world class scouting setup? Nope. The ticket prices are certainly world class, but we look clueless in other respects. We're not all here to support a property development company.

You mentioning the CL final and a few bad games this season... have you not noticed just how bad our away form has been this year? This isn’t some mini blip in form. We have been struggling for months. Selections, tactics, substitutions... a downward spiral as AVB would say. Off the pitch is the only area where we’re getting things right.

That's the point. We aren't.

Yeah what a mess. Most consistent league performances since the Prem began, regular CL football and just got to a CL final.

It looks like our manager might be at the end of his run and our results have gone bad. Not all down to Levy and ENIC.

You get lots of neg because all your posts simply say "this player/manager/board are shit." Never any insight or thought. Just a grown man whose thought process can't go any deeper than calling someone shit.

It’s only a temporary blip mate. Levy’s next move will once again lead us to the promise land and trophies galore

Just give Dan & Joe a little more time. Just you wait. Rome wasn’t built in a day, took over 1000 years apparently!!

People need to remember That we are not a sleeping giant like Liverpool have been recently. We have not been a giant since the 60s. enic have built the club up from a mediocre midtable one to a consistent top 6 one. We would be further along our journey to a top club if mancity and Chelsea were not financially doped.

Yes we are playing shit at the moment but this is imo a bump in the road rather than a complete derailment.

Keep the faith. We are set for an amazing sustainable future.

Be a happy clapper, everything is fine...
You can easily see the club spending 250 million in the summer.
