Skrtel looks very uncomfortable in this new system.

Anyone know why Sahin was dropped for today?

Liverpool just look so fragile - they were bossing the possession (but not scoring) but you could see the heads droop as soon as they conceded. I thought they were unlucky not to win against Man City but they've looked worse each time I see them.

Rodgers for first sackee this season?;)

Think Rogers will prove to be a good manager and will be given time.

AVB on the other hand.......

Can I ask what you're basing that on? The way I see it, the jury is still out on Rodgers: awful at Reading, did well at Swansea but carried on, rather than initiated, their baby Barca methods. Has he got the skills to overhaul a team like Liverpool? I'm not sure myself.

....will be a decent manager if the media would fuck off and fans not get on his back. Fuck sake, give him time like you said with Rodgers. They're both young and talented.

Debating whether to trade-out my Sunderland to win bet..

There seems to be something wrong there and after hearing mourinho's comments I think this is make or break for him,

he has been slow since his knee injury apparently and it seems AVB was right

Mmmm. Warning bells went off for me when Mourinho didn't seem to care where he went, he just wanted shot of him. From Real to being dropped for Shelvey. Sheesh.

Look I understand I am in the minority on here but strangely not amongst the spurs fans I mix with, but I honestly cannot see why AVB is so highly regarded. I didnt want him to begin with after his time at Chelsea and now he is here I honestly think its been close to a disaster so far. Against Norwich I havent seen a more clueless display in ages. It was woeful. His selections have been poor IMo and his substitutions baffling. I find his interviews boring and his voice unbeleiveby annoying. As I said I know I'm in the minority on here and if I am wrong I will hold my hands up. But from where im standing I think he will do well to last into the new year.

Rogers on the other hand comes across extremely well and the Liverpool fans seem to like him and will give him time, I am sure of that.

Just my opinion guys hold fire on the neg ratings!

If Liverpool lose this they will have 1 point in 4 games. Looks like 'Arry will be getting a phone call soon. ;)

Now that's a long commute from Sandbanks!

Liverpool's problems in a nutshell: Taking off Borini to replace him with Downing. I know that Defoe is a round peg in a square hole for us but how many times has he come off the bench to save our arses in the past?

All about opinions but plenty could say they find Rodgers voice and accent annoying.

I think AVB has more chance of success because so far, when you compare the two, he has achieved more than Rodgers has. By a distance too.

As mentioned, Swansea was very much about keeping the plan in place. Martinez was doing the business and so far Laudrup seems to have actually improved them! Although it's early days.

It's not been a great start for AVB and he needs a win soon otherwise it's going to be intense, especially given the fixtures we have had and the fixtures we have coming up where we usually struggle.

I think both Rodgers and AVB will be given time. I can see both being in charge of their respective clubs come the end of the season.

I just put a pound on Liverpewl to win. That should help Sunderland to hold on.

Thought it was a mistake at the time to loan Rose out, especially when we have just one left back at the club. He has done well today

At least we have 4 goalkeepers though!

Hey, you're entitled to think what you like about AVB - my question was more about why you rate Rodgers but NOT AVB?

Just on the topic of AVB's voice: One of my flatmates sat through one of his SSN interviews. At the end she commented "wow, good job he's decorative to make up for that voice!":ROFLMAO:
