After 1 game? Really?

Nope but he has been slow for Madrid since his injury last year he didnt recover during his season at madrid, so he really needs games to start playing and with the form of allen and gerrard being undroppable, he will have to fight for that one spot, which may not be there if they want to play 4231, as allen and gerrard will always be ahead of him atm

Then Lucas will be coming back in 2 and half months as well as competition from Henderson, Suso and Shelvey

Saha on!

Speaking of Spurs strikers, did anybody see Kane come on for Norwich earlier? Thought he looked good.:)

In the scheme of things a draw away to Sunderland is a decent result. Tough team. They'll finish top 8 imo. Could easily see them above Liverpool actually.

Thought Liverpool looked by far the best team overall. Deserved a draw at least. Sunderland where quite poor considering they were the home team.

A much tougher league this season IMHO.

Look I understand I am in the minority on here but strangely not amongst the spurs fans I mix with, but I honestly cannot see why AVB is so highly regarded. I didnt want him to begin with after his time at Chelsea and now he is here I honestly think its been close to a disaster so far. Against Norwich I havent seen a more clueless display in ages. It was woeful. His selections have been poor IMo and his substitutions baffling. I find his interviews boring and his voice unbeleiveby annoying. As I said I know I'm in the minority on here and if I am wrong I will hold my hands up. But from where im standing I think he will do well to last into the new year.

Rogers on the other hand comes across extremely well and the Liverpool fans seem to like him and will give him time, I am sure of that.

Just my opinion guys hold fire on the neg ratings!

Some would say not since Norwich at home last season...

Thought it was a mistake at the time to loan Rose out, especially when we have just one left back at the club. He has done well today

At least we have 4 goalkeepers though!
I don't understand why this is a common belief. Naughton is just as good at left back as he is on the right, and Vertonghen is an international left back. Both are better there than Rose.

What is it with Stoke constantly getting dodgy decisions go for them? Double handball by Crouch and a pretty deliberate looking off the ball elbow both missed today.

From what I have seen of Naughton who looks an ok right back. Rose is actually left footed so IMO is a better option at left back than Naughton.

Vertonghen is our first choice centre half, why on earth would you want to play him left back ?

As I said strange one to loan Rose with the cover we have at left back.

How did he play?

They only showed his miss in the highlights I saw, which was pretty bad..... but good to hear his over all game was more impressive
