Not too many there that worry me thankfully, even Anzhi are looking much weaker now. That said I would expect us to get through these groups easy enough but then the farce that is the CL dropouts comes into play turning it into an entirely new competition ffs

Just waiting for AZ to finish their game being played atm - another good team who could still be knocked out if they concede another...

We're quite easily the strongest team there and quite rightly favourites to win it but when the CL dropouts enter the competition that will probably change, unbelievably stupid rule by UEFA, just basically rewarding failure ffs.

A few interesting teams in Pots 2-4 like PAOK, Anzhi and Dinamo Zagreb, but you're right, should make it through the group rounds relatively smoothly.

Would like to get PAOK again and give them a bit of a revenge spanking.

APOEL were drawn as the losing team to take Fenerbahce's place. They'll be in pot 2 if AZ go through, pot 1 if they don't.

Not fussed really as long as we don't get any Russian teams or bloody Israel. They're the games that knacker you out for the prem at the weekend

Something like Genk, Rapid Wien and Esbjerg would be our best outcome, mostly based on short travel distances. Whoever we draw we should be looking at comfortably winning the group without even having to play our strongest team each game. Worst case scenario would be Anzhi, Maccabi Haifa and Shakhter Karagandy.

Rather avoid these type of draws, won't be a very good away leg... For fans or players.

I agree, but have noticed that the Eastern European teams seem to be a bit shit in the last couple of years, but don't really want the long travel if we can help it.

Can see trouble at Trabzonspor and Legia. Possibly even Dnipro

I hope we don't get Shakhtar Karagundy. There would be a very real risk of Chirpy being sacrificed before the game!
