Just seen our group...fuck are these teams from (bar Anzhi) lol

Anzhi hasn't won a match this season. sitting 2nd from the bottom of the russian league with 2 draws... hopefully we will win qualification early and use our youngsters.

And get weaker by every day as fire sale continues, Lacina Traore, Ahmedov and Jucilei next? Sheriff seems to have loads of foreigners, especially Brazilians, some with decent resume that have done well at Polish, Belgium, Serbian, Israeli leagues or such and is probably way better than one would expect from Moldovian team, but still probably quite easy to beat if not underestimated too much. Tromsø doesn't seem like much.

Just been looking at all the players Anzhi have sold this summer, didn't know things were quite that bad. I thought it was just a few players but the whole squad has been sold off.

Should win the group with ease, disappointing if we don't.

I took a look at their team/squad.... i barely recognise anyone in there!

Tromsø aren't much, to be fair. Really struggling near the bottom of the Norwegian league this season. Only bummer is that we're going there in late November when it's going to be fucking freezing and probably snowing. Tromsø beat Chelsea at home in '97 in ridiculous conditions and we might be in for the same stuff.

Saw tweets on the draw while at work today, only concern is Anzhi. But aren't they in decline? Willian and Eto'o goine/going. Should be topping this group.

Europa League group games with following league fixtures in bold. Five home games is pretty good going, but we should be able to win all of those games without playing a full strength team anyway.

Matchday One - Spurs vs Tromso - Thursday, September 19, kick-off 8.05pm (UK time)
Cardiff (A)

Matchday Two - Anzhi vs Spurs - Thursday, October 3, kick-off 7pm (CET)
West Ham (H)

Matchday Three - FC Sheriff vs Spurs - Thursday, October 24, kick-off 7pm (CET)
Hull (H)

Matchday Four - Spurs vs FC Sheriff - Thursday, November 7, kick-off 8.05pm (UK)
Newcastle (H)

Matchday Five - Tromso vs Spurs - Thursday, November 28, kick-off 7pm (CET)
Man Utd (H)

Matchday Six - Spurs vs Anzhi - Thursday, December 12, kick-off 8.05pm (UK)
Liverpool (H)

Not too bad. Worried about the Tromsø trip in late November, though. The weather may well be an issue.

So far they've sold in their firesale Eto'o, Willian, Lassana Diarra, Kokorin, Zhirkov, Denisov, Samba, Boussoufa, Shatov, Joao Carlos, Gabulov, Ionov and Logashov for what is about £120m. Wouldn't be surprised to see Lacina Traore, Jucilei and some others to follow before end of window.

It would make too much sense to switch the dates of our home and away ties with them, wouldn't it? UEFA is so thick-headed sometimes.

Tromsö is an 11 hour drive for me. I'll def try to make it.
My wife's family is in Hammerfest. Might try and make it up for the game under the cunning ruse of a family visit.

Muhahahahaha.

I work in the best bar up here and everyone is welcome for some pints before the game!!

Where do you work mate? Need to speak to your manager to get him to realise that if you put your prices down it will get packed!

Cheers
