I wouldn’t give a fuck about the result but just remembered Arsenal are breathing down our necks.
You know how this ends with us in shit form at the end of the season and them hitting some form.... I've experienced it way too many times to not know.

First of all, does anyone think this is a good line-up that we should play regularly? I mean it is dogshit negative isn't it and plays to our weaknesses rather than our strengths.

So if we win this game, we're pretty much guaranteed to get more of the same. And it could work one off but it will fall apart eventually and be fucking diabolically eye-bleedingly boring to watch across the next month or so.

So is it even in our interest for it to win as we're effectively fucked in terms of qualification anyway? I guess Europa qualification does matter but it's the first time I've ever even entertained the notion of not wanting it to work.
i must admit i thought we would have tried it more, especially given we have a lack of quality centre mids and are so weak at the back. But it feels like he'll do anything but try to play to our strengths. i almost wish he'd stop trying with the back, accept it and go strong up top.

So basically 8 defensive players and Ndombele, Kane and Son.

Does Mourinho even like football? Such a negative lineup. And he'd probably have started Davies instead of Reguilon if he was fit too.

We do need Aurier and Reguilon to get forward and provide the width today.

Get them forward and hopefully Ndombele, Kane and Son can find some space

Our tactics for tonight have been leaked online. They’re actually more complex than most people give us credit for

We've got 7 games or so left and Jose will be gone next season so I'm confident that regularly will mean at most 7 games.

The problem is that it requires the fullbacks to remain involved in overloading the midfield for the majority of the match. If they don't then the entire structure of the side collapses in on itself and goes into its shell. We then expose our mistake prone centre backs to sustained pressure close to our goal-line and we all know how that ends. So the question is, will the wingbacks step-up and keep it going throughout the match? Usually what happens is that after a couple of scares at the back they drop off to support the centrebacks and we lose control of the midfield.

I think that's why I enjoyed the 17/18 run in so much. We bottled it big time but Arsenal somehow outdid us, losing 3 on the bounce then drawing with Brighton with a game to go

Who out of Dier and Sissoko has more games for us? And who would you say is worse? There’s two really depressing questions for ya before kick off. :D

This can definitely work if the whole side is aggressive and confident. The problem is that if they lose that confidence or aggression throughout the match (or don't actually fucking start with it) things will death spiral super super quickly.

Definitely dropping in here at about 9.40 this evening to experience the levels of despair and scrotum wringing when Everton score the winner. I’ve already got my gonads nestling on the couch in anticipation for it

you need to get out more mate. ?
