Made the point before but if I was a multi millionaire and I could live in Italy, maybe but a small yacht and have it off the coast of Capri and live my life eating the best food in the world in the sun then as much as I love Tottenham Hotspur I'd be there in a shot

I mean I'd probably have a heart attack in six month through tripling my body weight in pasta but still, what a life..
Yes but a lot of people get addicted to high powered jobs. I work for an infra fund and have guys in their 50s/60s who’s health is suffering who cannot give up the power and lifestyle. They’re multi millionaires.

I mean yeah that's why I have no money but I can still dream of living in Italy ?

Horrible luck, get well soon gaffer.

(I think I’d understand if he indeed calls it a day at the end of his contract now. I dunno if he’s a spiritual person but if he is then maybe all these tragedies and struggles he’s had while Spurs boss might indicate a sign to him that this isn’t the right matrimony. And as others have pointed out, time away in Italy with his family might make him rethink his career in football generally.)

We paid £60m for Brazil's CF. I don't see a world where we go buy another striker worth more than that.

Anyway, wishing Conte a speedy recovery!
Mate if you aren’t applying for a seat in the board you need to pdq with that way of thinking

He's spent what, 200 million in 3 windows?

He's openly said it would take 4 or 5 windows to become competitive.

What's changed?
But they have to be his players to count. Club players are to be loaned out.

?

Just being realistic. Not many strikers I can think of in world football that could replace Kane.

Plus I wouldn't say we've given Richarlison a fair crack at the job either.

Get well soon!

He's football through and through so I doubt he would walk away. He may need a sabbatical though.

So we should go back to having 1 striker?
that’s worked so well for us.

tbf we’ll probably end up with four like the days of berbatov/Keane/Defoe/bent

but really we should be throwing serious money at osimhen (or even Tammy Abraham) amongst others when that time comes.

So it will be wout

Solely anticipating this but between his family living in Italy, losing multiple friends, and this incident, I can’t see a world where he stays in England or manages. Grief will make you reconsider many things. Add in physical health issues, imo, this can’t be long term for him.

All the best to the Boss. This is what Spurs do to you though.

Surprise face when Stellini steps up as the next big thing in management.

Can't begin to imagine the pain when those symptoms come on.

Get well soon, Antonio.

Hopefully he returns rested and we have a strong end to the season. I also reckon he'll leave in the summer and probably take a break from football.

Stellini carries himself well in pressers - I liked that Conte was giving him that responsibility - good mentoring/management, imo.

I wonder how much input Conte will have while he is out, and how much freedom Stellini might have to make his own line-up/tactical calls. It could be interesting.

I'm actually weirdly looking forward to it. As much as I'd love Conte to stay, some minor adjustments could be interesting to watch.

Should show us what the players are made of as well.
