That’s a foul all day long but it is nice to have a game that is flowing

I just really don’t get that sort of challenge, no attempt to win the ball, just throwing yourself down in front of the player after a grappling match - never gets given!

As they always say six of one half a dozen of the other.

Pretty silly they're both wearing their home kits with white stripes.

Jobe Bellingham barely getting a kick and looks very slow when he does. One way traffic and the Newcastle keeper could’ve sat in a deckchair. Disappointing from Sunderland

Anyone know how good he is and whether he has similar potential to jude?

He's earned rave reviews for his performances in the Championship but it's also true that most weren't expecting him to look as good as he has so soon after moving from Birmingham. At the same time it was a surprise in itself that he moved "sideways" to another Championship club when he left Birmingham.

He's a bit more of a forward than Jude, but then Jude has also excelled in a similar ish role for Real Madrid. It'll be unlikely that Jobe has that same ceiling but that doesn't mean he can't become very good.

Hopefully this performance shuts up the ‘we should’ve kept Jack Clarke’ crowd quiet for a while. Out of his depth

I think first team football and being coached by Mike Dodds who left Birmingham for Sunderland a season or 2 back was a big reason. Think he was massive in Jude’s progression.
