Looks like villa maybe getting Wilson for £20 mil, and matty cash from forest for £16mil, if they get those. How can we have less cash than them
For signings? I know people are going to say covid/stadium, but it just doesn’t seem right.

As always wihh Everton, they're still as likely to finish 17th as they are 4th, so they'll probably end up mid table again.

Doucoure is a good signing. James is a bit of a risk but I suppose they're not breaking the bank for him. I don't know much about Allan, but I thought he was a similar player to Doucoure. Seems odd to get both, particularly with Gomes, Davies, Delph and Gbamin.
Completely updated the whole centre midfield in 1 week.

Yeah Everton definitely need a striker, DLC is decent but not good enough, also probably a better CB, interesting team to watch next season though.

They are probably expecting a Grealish shaped windfall at some point.

Serious question - where to?

Liverpool don't seem particularly active this window, United now look stacked with VDB, Pogba and Fernandes, City have said they're keeping all their creative players, Chelsea have signed about £150m+ of player this window, Arsenal won't have the cash and are looking at Partey and/or Aouar, so it only really leaves us. Even then I highly doubt, even if we sold Tanguy, we'd pay what Villa want.

I just can't see anyone signing Grealish this Summer.

Yeah not sure Grealish will go anywhere.

Feels like a Newcastle / West Ham / Everton style signing but not sure any can afford him. And it would be a bit of a sidewards step for him.

Genuinely surprised United didn’t splurge on him. Would love us to have a crack if we sell NDombele.

If we sold Ndombele I'd love Grealish. not sure Villa let him go for anything less than £70m though.

I think Partey would be a great signing for them unfortunately, but Ceballos was part of their dross midfield last season and Aouar had less work rate than Ndombele at Lyon, so who knows how he will adapt, as we've seen with Tanguy, he might struggle with the pace of the PL.
Yeh Ceballos is decent tbf, but is nothing exceptional.

I'm not worried about Aouar, talented player from france, but really nothing more at this point.

Partey would really be a special signing, but Atletico will not want to sell and they'd have to stamp up 44m for him. Other clubs are also interested, I would actually be surprised were this to be taken over the line.

Real Madrid want Bale out. Bale wants out. Why cant they pay him 30m to terminate his contract? Madrid get rid of him and save 30m. Bale then gets 15m from his new club for each of the next 2 years

Madrid save money. Bale doesn't lose money and plays football again

Everyone's a winner

Bale doesn't really want out, at least not badly enough to take a financial hit. Shame, but he's entitled to sit on his fat contract and enormous mattresses made of money, soaked with the tears of Spurs fans.

Because Bale probably wants out but still wants someone to pay him £600k a week.
