Literally only done it for four months at West Ham. What a nothing player and nothing spell that was.

Yep. Scored twice in 20 appearances, with 2 assists. Both goals and assists in the FA Cup.

Of course, he scored and assisted against us!

Wasn't he on serious wages? Looks like we aren't the only ones who get transfers wrong. . .

Eh, a pretty low risk signing by Forest. Sign him for big wages on a 1 year contract as a newly promoted club.

If it works, it improves their chances of staying up. If it didn't (as it transpired), they're not stuck with him on a long-term contract. And they still managed to stay up.

Much, much better situation than signing a player for 40m and 150k wages on a 5 year contract and it not working out.

I think it was a recent coach though, could be Jose? Jokes aside Obvs you know more about this than the majority of us on here. I am sure I did read something in the papers about it.
Think possibly it was one of those Levy opportunistic type links…

Hazard to be released on a free, even worse signing than ndomble
He got his dream move and literally turned up overweight.

By far the most disappointing transfer in the last ten years.

When he's fit though he's an incredible talent.
Don't think he'll ever get fit again, you don't have so many injuries over such a long period of time when you've passed 30 and recover. Hazard's not exactly renowned for taking care of his body while injured either.

At 32 I'll be amazed if he plays a minute for another top club again. There's even talk he's just going to retire now.
