Looks like he can't be arsed anymore and sadly most of us called it when he decided he would grace us with his presence after the bullshit he pulled this summer.

Nuno's saving grace here would be to drop him, and build around a front 3 of Son, Gil and Lucas/Bergwijn.

I know Scarlett is young, but get him playing against the weaker opposition too. He is going to be a star one day.

We can't let the rot set in, regardless of how much Harry has done for the club in the past. Maybe a couple games on the bench is the kick up the arse he needs.

You can't keep blaming Kane for our problems it's the players around him that are the biggest problem. I still see a man trying to score and create goals but frustrated with the lack of support he's getting. Yes he missed two chances that last season he might have scored but I bet you he will still score 20 or more goals this season even with the lack of support from a very impotent MF.
I'm sure he's dissapointed he didn't get his move probably even more so now the way the team are playing but he's a professional and will get on with doing the best he can. Give him the support and he will put it in the net time and time again.
It will probably be a shit season but I bet at the end of it Kane will have done his best and scored the goals you would have expected from him but no "golden boot" this time.

Honest question, but what are you basing your opinion of him being a professional on? Because over the past 5/6 months he has been anything but professional for Spurs.

Whether it be the interview with Gary Nevile in the middle of last season, returning late to training or telling the club he wants to leave but not handing in a transfer request to protect his bonuses. I can't see any evidence of professional behaviour.

He probably knows City will be back in for him in January and he's trying to bring the price down by not giving a shit.

I really don't think Kane is purposefully not trying, despite the fact he acted like a **** in the summer. I just think the motivation is gone. We are an average team, with an average manager who's completely lost. There's no doubt he has to find a way to improve, he's been fucking horrific. But he's been as bad for England too. Missed a few chances and was shit throughout the Euros IMO too.

You only need to look at his stats from the last match to see how much he's involved. The only players who had less touches were Dele who played 45 minutes and Gil who got about 20. He spent most of his time falling over and trying to con the Ref. Nothing whatsoever 'professional' about that. Needs to be dropped.

He didn't have to hand in a transfer request as he was under the impression that he could leave if he stayed another year as was promised by Levy. Nuno has said that he knew Kane was coming back late for training and there was no problem. As far as the Neville interview is concerned by that time everybody knew that he was going to leave and after that the gentlemans agreement with Levy came out.
Kane is a great player and has given this club 8 fantastic years but time is running out for him to win something of note and he knows the same as we do that he isn't going to get it here.
I still say he will get 20 goals plus this year and show his professionalism. Levy should have taken the last offer of £130 mil and then everybody would have been happy. As it is being close to 30 next season his value would have reduced a lot and Levy wont get anything like the 130 mil. So nobody wins except maybe the fans as he might end up finishing his contract out with us.

After what happened with modric, harry should ahve known that a gentlemans agreement with a person like levy means nothing.

Plus im not sure city offered 130m and levy didnt want to negotiate so city said fuck it.

I don’t think it’s Kane not trying, I think it’s the fact that we currently have one of the worst midfields we have had in ages. We are absolutely awful creatively.

Bit of both I'd say. I don't think Kane is 'not trying' per se, but he seems to be away with the fairies at the moment and unable to do his job. It comes across as him not giving a toss but in the long term he must know his own ineptitude could end any interest Man City had in him, and that will be entirely his own fault.

Thats the real problem. A team full of players and no one can create for our forward players. Son and kane are our top 2 assisters from the last two seasons. When either of them is not on it it really shows how bad things are.

Kane is a number 10, he should create for others. Watford aren't creative powerhouses and Sarr is scoring from same position (or right winger). Tactics certainly don't help obviously but it didn't stop Son from scoring or being involved.
