Kanes problems are probably of his own making. I remember reading or hearing an interview with Rooney about the time he practically went on strike to get bigger money at UTD. He referenced how he took his foot off the pedal in trying to force UTDs hand, but also mentioned how difficult he found it to get back to where he was before he lapsed. Not sure if I recall correctly, but I think he mentioned a time-frame of nine months to get back to his best, saying that at the time it took him a while to realise that the difference between his level and the next level down, that he slipped to, was so little, yet so difficult to re-achieve. He took it for granted that he could just flick a switch and go back to being the next level up and that it was only then he realised the high standard of his opponents and that he needed the bit extra to better them. It was hard to believe at the time, but recall him being quite frank and honest about it and would certainly go a long way to explaining Kanes issues this year, as he most certainly looks off the pace and is really struggling to get his shots away before they get blocked. Just a thought...

He’s played a big part in our troubles this season, funny how quickly people forget.

And here we are letting him dictate over us for another summer

Make him make his decision by July 1st,

I think you’re right in a time frame needs to be established for it. I don’t think Conte will be going anywhere soon but I’m not so sure about harry. Although I could see him staying this summer then us cashing in on him next when we’ll still get a good fee for him.

Not sure that he will be worth much with one year left on contract, especially if he continues to struggle with finishing. His HG status will give him some boost but if City offered 75m+25m with 3 years left on contract after one of his best years how much will be able to get when he has 1 year left? He will probably injure his ankle few more times until then. I think it will be similar to Eriksen situation, he need to extend his contract in Summer or leave IMO, if we get the fair price.

PIsses me off that no one seems to know what woke is. It's just a random word people use to discredit an opposing view.

I completely agree.

Harry Kane has been a superb player for us. Scored so many goals and got lots assists too. But I swear people think he does it for free.

He's paid accordingly. He earns not far off £1m per month with bonuses. He's paid to be the player he's been for us. I can never ever feel sorry for someone because they earn over £200k per week but might not win a trophy.

I want him to deliver for Spurs. But he's been a tosser trying to engineer the move the way he did. If he wants to leave, get as much as reasonably possible for him and let him go.

It's not like we're going to go from winning trophies and challenging to not being competitive if we sold him. We're a mile off anyway.

‘Alert to injustice in Society’

I know exactly what it means. and I’m using it in a deliberately disparaging way - to point out the ridiculous idea that it is somehow unjust that HK remains a THFC player. ?

This is a very real thing that affects other jobs imo.

When I've left a job before, I've always worked my notice period at 100% effort. That seems to confuse a lot of people I've worked with, and for, who don't understand why. It's simply that if you spend a month with little effort, you get used to it - and your next job will be harder, because you have to step up, instead of maintain.

He's right imo if we show the proper intent with quality signings and stop fucking about then he stays and it's a win win. Otherwise good luck to him and sooner enic and Levy go the better.

Even me putting him in my fantasy team couldn't stop him, amazing display vs City.
Yep I got him as captain! ??

Although I put Son in last week, Sterling who he replaced got a hat-trick.

Then swapped Sterling back in and Son got two assists...
