Winks has spent his life at Spurs and always been in a comfort zone, never even been on loan so he is gonna find it hard leaving. It's time to take his dummy away and for him to man up and f**k off.

Wouldnt be surprised if „banished” ndombele, winks, reguilon and lo celso formed an impromptu „fuck spurs” alliance. Train with the reserves with zero effort and collect hefty paycheck every week.

This is why Conte has banished him and others.

Winks has it too comfy at Spurs, wouldn't be surprised if he thinks he can be reintegrated into the squad after the window closes. He's probably happy to just stay and collect his wages. World class training ground, he knows its all down hill from here on in if he leaves. He must think a top 6 club will come in for him, the guy doesn't realise his level at all.

He needs a reality check.

I would have to believe one of the promoted clubs might be interested and have a punt on him. He isn’t good enough for Spurs but he does have quite a bit of Premier League experience.

I suspect those are exactly the kind of clubs he’s been turning his nose up at, especially if the likes of Valencia have been making eyes at him.

Just maybe he has a contract like Kane had and we all wanted Kane to honor his signed contract. Harry Winks is entitled to have us honor his contract and not be pushed into any arrangement which is of no benefit to him. Let him take his time until the offer he finds suitable presents itself. No need to be abusive or name call the guy. Patience he will leave, I'm sure he too wants that change but his career is short why should he just accept something for the clubs or its supporters convenience.

Yeah I wish no ill willl towards him. It is his career, at this point he needs to be laying regular football and that’s clearly not going to be here.

No benefit? He will play football regularly surely that’s what he wants? He has overstayed his welcome in my eyes and needs to move! I’m sure he will get a decent wage elsewhere also.
He should consider himself lucky considering the career he has had for being distinctly average.

Yeah but sells stories to the press, you just don't do that. Remember that Lloris interview...
I doubt he 'sold' anything. He might have leaked something, and if he did (certainly I don't have proof, not sure who does), then it was a silly move by a (I'm guessing) 22 year old, that I imagine he regrets.

But I think the whole 'ostracize the snake' thing is over done IMO

Way too harsh IMO - he's home grown, is human (and allowed to make mistakes), and has always given his all on the pitch
No he has not! The last few season he, along with many other players, have taken taken the piss out of the club with pathetic performances, bad attitude and constant leaks to the press. A club don't have five managers in two years if the players give everything for the club, period!

To those who disliked this comment, rest assured it's a very well informed opinion. The guy has made some very questionable decisions.
I didn't 'dislike' it, that would have been rude, given you're well informed and have clearly thought about your view. I chose to write why I disagreed with it.

I wasn't around at the time of this so can someone please enlighten me on what stories he told and what the Lloris interview was about. Thanks
