It would absolutely destroy football in this country. That's why it hasn't happened. Seriously wtf??

One of the big challenges with the "Premflix" idea is that amount of work required to setup the infrastructure. It's far from impossible, but the PL would need to come up with (through partnership) the studio setups, outside broadcast setups, commentators, pundits etc. and then all the sales and customer service personnel needed.
The Premier League already have this in place, it's called Premier League Productions, they sell this to lots of English speaking countries already.
For the streaming side they just need to partner with a powerhouse who already has expertise in this...eg Netflix/Amazon/Youtube.

As long as all clubs get an equal share, I'm all for it.

I'd pay a fiver and a game by game option should be more. At least a tenner, probably a little bit more. Twenty quid for Yankspurs.

Season ticket holders would get free home games for each game their ST is valid for although quite why they'd want them............

The A&C regime would also charge pensioners a nominal fee of £1 and Spurs Chat regulars double. Of course, the BSoDL would pay £30 a game regardless of age.

People forget there are those out of work and struggling financially. We can't just spend money for the sake of it.

To the contrary. "In this goddarnfuccit unprecedented times", I see no issue rolling out a one-off seasonal live online broadcast of all matches that aren't already scheduled for the big providers.

Would it? I mean i see NFL or MLB etc and they still have full grounds.

Also financially the clubs will make even more money given the additional revenue from the tv/streaming etc

I think you will always have fans and by the additional revenue the clubs are making, they can lower prices of going to games isntead of the 1500 a season some of us are paying or a hundred quid a game.

You cannot compare NFL or other sports as they're completely different.
The big clubs will make a fortune, the small clubs nothing, resulting in an utter fkin shit non competitive league. The rich will get richer and the poor poorer.
Was undecided whether to bother explaining that as its so obvious.

Personally I'd prefer a PL pass. If teams are allowed to sell season passes, we'd be at a huge disadvantage to some of the teams with larger fan bases.

I agree with you and thats why in my initial post I said that we should make sure that money is trickled down. We cant just have PL clubs making all the money and need to contribute to the lower leagues.

That money could and would be equally distributed certainly amongst PL clubs with some set aside for lower league football.

There are more intricacies than what ive said but by the same token there are more factors to it that dont make it obvious.

Anyways we all know this is far fetched to happen

Unless it was sold by the PL where all clubs get an equal split then it would be the end of football being competitive, but I'd go for £250 I suppose, any more and I'd seek other methods.
Exactly what was going through my head.

There's the question - if spurs offered a 'TV season ticket' so that you could watch every game in all competitions, how much would you pay for it? I have assumed a 50 game competition to allow for progress in the cup/European competitions.

A further question might be if you have a ST, would you also buy the TV season ticket? I suppose ST holders might want an 'away matches only' TV ticket if they don't travel.

I know theoretically it's complicated because you'd need agreement from all other clubs, etc. but I'm just interested to see what people would pay. For my part, I'd definitely pay up to £7.50 for a game. I might pay a tenner as well. I'm not sure I'd pay more because there are so many games. I'd also get one despite having a ST, but potentially just want the 'away' option.
Depends on the service. I would pay more if I could record / pause the games / less if I couldn't.

I don't have the sports channels because I can't justify the expense of multiple subscriptions to watch a minority of Spurs games. A subscription for all Spurs games would be very attractive though.

I'm not a season ticket holder, but if I was I might feel slightly ripped off having to pay again for a TV service.

I'm anticipating circa 60 games (including the ones we've played) - I'd happily pay for 100 extra games if it means trophies though ;)

I’d love to be able to do this. I don’t really much care for other football outside a Match of the Day round up.

I’ve put £5 a game as one offs but if it was ever permitted to happen I’d expect something tiered, with a more subscription-style service in a Netflix vein of £10 a month all you can eat with some nostalgia and back room programming chucked in, and a £200 season ticket upfront deal.

Judging by pre-season can probably add 50% to all of these prices in Levy’s reality

I don’t see why the split on revenue would or should be any different to how the league spread the money from selling the rights currently.

Spurs have already done it with preseason as did watford. I suppose it depends where the money was going. Also I think it only works ifnl its domestic based only. As international rights should still be sold as usual. Otherwise it would become a 2 team league if they got to keep all global rights money. if it wasn't all put into the same pot and split as is, away match day revenue should be given to the home team. That would help the smaller clubs out a little. However there would be no incentive for clubs to do it if money was just being split as is now as why would they take on the financial implications. It will eventually go that way though.

In Oz we have all PL games live plus full recorded matches, mini match goals only. European club games and internationals. For $180 per year (£100).

Its a decent coverage.
