To be honest, I would not buy one. I can get all the games here in the States and also get them on demand. Now to go to the games in London, when we finally get back to normal is a different story.

I don’t think that a huge percentage of our league games covered by Sky or BT have affected the number of fans actually attending the game.
BT televise Champions League matches but the matches are sell outs.
It would be extra revenue and brilliant for those who cannot afford season tickets or who cannot attend games because of where they live.

Premier League have said that the games not selected for TV in October, you can watch on pay per view

They really think a lot of themselves, regardless of the pandemic, £15 per game is absurd.

Thankfully there’s only one of our games (home vs Brighton) that’s not scheduled to be on Sky for the rest of the month, so while I won’t be paying £15 a game to watch it in my front room, I won’t miss out on too much.

Totally agree. Would just have to go to the pub if I want to watch it and run the gauntlet, as I am certainly not paying £15, so almost certainly will just watch an illegal stream.

Thanks PL, money before the nations health.

£15 per game is nothing short of a fucking disgrace. The Premier League can go fuck themselves.

you can kind of see the thinking behind it when an average match day ticket is £50.

Not even that, match tickets for a family or a group of mates is seceral hundred.

Instead, someone pays £15 and all their mates come around to watch it. In that context, I can see why they've tried with £15.

It's way too expensive as a one-off, especially as they're still getting their Sky money.

I don't mind 15 pounds per game, I think that's a good compromise. That being said, the price probably will mean that I won't purchase every Tottenham game (and naturally zero "neutral" games). However they could've launched weekly passes, so that one could maximise a 7-day period if Tottenham plays eg. Sunday and then Saturday. Of course another issue for me is that I only use the online SKY platform NOW TV, so if that platform isn't given more matches, I'm no better off anyway.

As previously I don’t watch Spurs TV games so doesn’t bother me but if you add ticket price and travel, £15 isn’t over the top ?
Tickets, depending on opposition and where you sit, are what £40-75? I don’t know as I have a senior ST which is £400 so that’s £21 (split into 19 games) then train fare and underground. So not over the top

Urgh... I hate that I understand their logic.

Cause essentially these games weren't going to be televised otherwise, right? These are the 3pm games and other games that aren't super sunday or MNF etc...
So it's £15 for a game that you wouldn't have otherwise been able to see.
Games that you only would see if you bought a ticket to the game which is looking at £50+
By that logic, £15 makes sense especially if you can factor in families and or multiple people watching one game etc...

Still... during a pandemic when unemployment is rising and everything, £15 per game can sound a little steep and you do have to wonder if they could have done it cheaper?
I doubt they'd have been able to sustainably keep showing every game live as they had been doing so I understand that stopping whilst finding a way to still make games available and get some income in (which I'm sure the PL clubs will get something out of to help themselves).

Ultimately I don't think there's anyway they could have won in this scenario. They can't keep just putting them on Amazon, BT, BBC and Sky... and with fans not in stadiums they can't not make games available.

Also the infrastructure is already there because there's a television crew present at most matches anyway, they just aren't broadcasted. Which means that the increase in cost of production is minimal for the additional matches. But profit goes to clubs, so I'm ultimately fine with the price if the matches are online.

I'd pay the £15 but only because I think it is one game for us and not say four or five but that's not to say I don't think it is ridiculously absurd.

I mean a boxing fight that lasts an hour is on ppv for what £25 so I can see where they're going but those are one off events

Edit: On second thoughts, fucking ****ish from them. I already pay an extortionate amount for sky and bt. Ridiculous. This does feel like the start where they will do this for the star elite type games in the future. I fear that
