Ref's going to come down hard on us. Even if Lloris saved a penalty he'd probably get sent off for diving.

I hate it too, i hate being at work more as whenever football is brought into the conversation (which is everyday) i have to stay silent as there is nothing to say =(

Although I expect a dodgy decision or two I think Chelsea will still prove too good for us. They'll win this one and we'll blame it on the ref.

I was comforted recently by a chat with a relative who actually works for Chelsea where they said that actually, all the backroom staff hate working for the club and have become progressively more unhappy since Abramovich took over. Said they actually feel glee now when they get a bad result. How toxic a working environment must it be?

I expect Costa to come down with an injury in training. He managed to get himself suspended for the last meeting. We know he fears the Faz so I would not be surprised if a mysterious injury comes up.

Yet more of the same crap from Mourinho cultivating the famous 'siege mentality' at Chelsea. I hope Phil Dowd mans up and does his job properly. Yellow card for the first dive, whether us or them, should set the tone.

Splashed all over the news today so I'd say it worked. It still amazes me how the media fall for his bullshit, but they are easy stories and means there will be more down the line.. anyway..

Refs fall for this sort of crap all the time. Even yesterday, Rooney had a word with the ref and then the next soft touch was a free kick to them. David Moyes once commented that the ref in a game between his Everton team and Chelsea was starstruck by their big names and trying to get their autographs after the game.

Then later on when Lloris (as captain) tried to have a word with him about a decision the ref just told him to go away.
Still the same every week the bigger the club the more decisions they get. That includes us against the so-called lower teams.

Agree this kind of mind game tactic DOES work. Its proven and not up for debate and as has been mentioned there was a prime example in the Man U game with Rooney and Man U players moaning at EVERY fkin decision right from kick off until he gave in and awarded a freekick that was never a freekick in a hundred years.
Its one of my pet hates that none of our managers, with possible exception of Sherwood, ever kick up a stink, even when we get absolutely bum raped.
Its always 'Oh well thats football' or 'Well its a hard job' where a Liverpool, ManU, Arsenal, Citae, Chelski manager would be going bat shit crazy.
Poch did it in the post match interview refering to the blatant penalty from Rooney.
Asked if he thought it was a pen he said 'maybe'.
I tell you now if the shoe was on the other foot Lvg would have spat his dummy out and next game more than likely seen the benefits from doing so.
The minute I saw this shit from Mourinho on Sky sports I knew we will get bum raped again by some bollocks decision on Thursday.
Expect a red card given or overlooked (refer to RVPs blatant yellow not given for fear of upsetting Rooney and Lvg as ref knew it would incur a ban), penalty given or not given, goal allowed or disallowed, offside given or not given or pulled back for a freekick when should have played on. Whatever, fully expect to see a game changing decision in Chelskis favour, probably early on so we have to chase the game and then end up getting thumped so commentators can come out with some shit like 'well the best team won in the end so didnt make a lot of difference'. Yeah, best team won after the game changer you pricks.
Ooh I could crush a grape.

I hate the ***** too, but I don't think they'll need a dodgy decision to beat us.

Anyway, we seem to be really jammy this season so maybe we'll get the luck instead......*

Chelsea are the UKIP of football and Mourinho is their Farage, are we surprised moronic football 'journalists' and their dumbdumb readers lap it all up? With the state of English refereeing I am definitely anticipating some kind of hilarious decision against us.

Also highlights that particular issue with having a GK as Captain. Rooney could be at the ref whenever he wanted, Hugo couldn't leave his station.
