Much taller than I remembered him to be the first time I watched his highlights:
Selling Sissoko to get Sangare makes too much sense to happen.I think shipping Sissoko out and bringing Sangare in would make lots of sense. Sissoko has been an excellent servant to the club but it’s time to move him on. I’m sure there would be suitors among mid-table clubs who would view him as a one-man guarantee of winning the physical battle in midfield and weapon on the counter.
Sangare is 9 years younger, better in terms of his defensive positioning and far more technically sound. Hope this has legs.
It might have been Skipp pushing for it in fairness, but this makes me perplexed as to why we've loaned him out. I'm convinced had Jose been a bit bolder about it then we could have easily shipped out Sissoko or even Winks (for a big fee) and just used Skipp as the second option to Hojbjerg. He'd have played loads in a Europa League season. All for Sangare though. This is one thing that worries me slightly.
We have 8 games in 15 days or whatever, no chance will Hoejbjerg play all of them.
The alternative of course is we go back to Sissoko and Winks but we are really back at square one.
Hope we can find a solution.
Okay I've found it. On February 1 2019, the official Toulouse FC twitter account announced that Sangare had extended his contract. Here's a French media report from that day saying that the new contract expires in 2022.I was surprised by the quoted price because there have been multiple reports that he's into the final year of his contract. I looked into it and although Transfermarkt has his contract down as expiring in June 2021 (and multiple shit outlets like the Express have said the same, presumably after a cursory Google search), a number of reports linking him to Everton last summer make reference to the fact that he'd recently extended to 2022. I can't actually find the primary source announcement of that extension from Toulouse, but this fan site also has him down as 2022.
It appears that Transfermarkt is wrong and he's actually got two years left. Even still, €15m is £13.5m, still a bargain signing for a talented 22 year old.
Steady mate! I highly doubt we'd bring all them 3 inBalance.
Much better team balance having this guy in the squad than Sissoko.
Blimey, Sabitzer, Sangare and Doherty in, Sissoko, Ndombele and Aurier out.. Much better options (although I do believe Ndombele will come good elsewhere, if not here).
Haven't seen any links to blimey yet, looks a great playerBalance.

Would give us a solid Core.Haven't seen any links to blimey yet, looks a great player

Same as O’ReillyWhat is the height of blimey?
Can't see us signing him given that's we've bought Hojbjerg and have other quite pressing priorities, but he's a player for sure.
Personally I’d be all for another central midfielder.
Dier is now a centre back, which leaves us with Winks, Lo Celso, Ndombele and Højbjerg, which of we play a midfield three leaves us still a little tight in that area with Skipp on loan.
And no I don’t count Sissoko as we really should be cashing in on him and upgrading to someone better.
I think we need another defensive minded option. Not necessarily a primary DM but someone who has the capacity to fill in.Fair point but we do have Gedson, and I think Dele could play there if required.
Absolutely. Skipp has left the squad so needs to be replaced.Personally I’d be all for another central midfielder.
