I'm curious, what do you think of Zlatan Ibrahimovic? I think it is the third best player in the world after Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi

Because I believe there are 36 better players than him, at least!!

Any reason why you think he is th third best player in the world?

I love Ibra, one of my favourite players. Has everything in his locker to be one of the top CF's in the world. Not done it in international tournaments where most would have seen him. Finished top scorer in Serie A this season and i wouldn't be surprised if he now left Inter, as he has won everything, possibly to Real.

He's always been shite when I've watched him, but appreciate he must be good to have the record he does.

He is nowhere near as good as Gerrard, who is the 3rd best in the world at the moment. I don't even rate him above Torres or Rooney.

TBH, I was just picking a random number above, I have only seen him play a number of times, and every time I have seen him play I thought he was lazy and put no effort in.

Probably why he looks good in the italian league, which is notably slower than Spain/England leagues.

I admit, that he has scored one of my favourite all time goals, but generally, lazy, possibly lazier than Berbs!!

All his Serie A goals this season. The one against Bologna on 46 secs is one of my favourites.

He scores every type of goal. Headers, volleys, placed shots, left foot, right foot, chips and even free kicks. Very few strikers in world football that can do that.

He even scores the goals taking on the whole defense, he does have it all, but whenever I have seen him, he has been lazy.

But, admittedly, it hasn't been that often :)

Nearly always freezes on the biggest stage (i.e. big CL games)

That's why he's nowhere near the best player in the world, regardless of his actual ability.

Sorry - but he's not. Good player, but goes missing a lot in games, Torres is a much better striker.

Torres goes missing all the time, only to the treatment table.

Anyway, 25 goals and 7 assists in 35 starts. Decent enough.

I used to be the same. But spent two years working on Italian football and as Inter were dominating saw tons of them and tons of him. He's amazing for them. Scores every type of goal imaginable and some you'd never dream of.

That said, he tends to go missing in the bigger games with regards to Europe and Internationals.

He has the ability to be phenomenal, but I think he suffers mentally when it comes to big games. Maybe its because everyone expects him to create and score, or because he wants to get involved in every instance of the attack rather than let others create the opportunity for him, but he never impresses when it matters.

I read some stats that he had managed only a handful of goals in games against the top 6, and has failed to score in the knockout stages of the CL. Maybe he suffers under pressure?

Its a bit of a mystery, but if he isnt consistent he isnt the best player in the world, or even up there.

zlatan is the best player at inter and basicly of serie a, maybe that's why he wants out. he wants to join a team where there are more superstars like him like barca, madrid and chelsea.

most 'stars' at inter aren't what they used to be. you can't blame him for not winning major european trophies while serie a are on a decline as a whole.
