I'm looking forward to seeing us play without Bale.

I hope we're not in for a night of Defoe spurning each attack by shooting from impossible scoring positions

Going to be very interesting to see what team avb puts out- has hinted at a bit of rotation and a strong team- would like to see Carroll get a decent amount of game time personally

i said in another thread that i think that Bale being in the team limits the strikers efficiency. Im not saying i would have our strikers instead of him scoring but it will be interesting to see if they get a little more action in front of goal tonight.

I'd take a nervy 0-0 right now. Just looking to avoid another loss really and hopefully use it as a way to get over the weekend's result for the players.

I think we will score, probably lose on the night but we will have done enough at home imo.

to be honest, I'm really hoping Carroll will play. Would enjoy seeing a long stint in a game where I think he'll have a fair bit of room.

An hour ahead of us. Does still seem a little early to KO at 7 p.m. on a weeknight.
