I was taking the piss.

Although coincidentally, I think it's entirely plausible.

Not you, there were no responses when I first loaded the thread and started writing the message.

I think it's completely implausible and massively paranoid to think it's in any way a tactic the club would deploy.

The timing is comical. I think every Spurs fan will have a bit of concern that there is a bit more to it than a simple injury.
If this does spell the end, then I am not sure who I would rather he went to. I'd hate to see him go United because they are in our league and they have just ripped our hearts out by signing MS.
But then to see that circus at Madrid march in a pluck one of our players again would be demoralising, and after the way they have treated Casillas I have lost even more respect for the club, their fans and any one who chooses to play for them.
So no, not concerned one bit.....

I wouldn't rule it out, but that's probably because I'm a paranoid, cynical shadow of the person I used to be.

It's frustrating because Hugo is an absolute monster of a keeper. I am however more than happy with Vorm in goal for a few games. Just hope it's on a temporary basis.

Lloris wont play for us again, of that I'm sure.

Michel Vorm is going to keep 25 clean sheets next season and win the golden gloves award for the next 10 seasons. Unlucky, Hugo.

Vorm's going to come in, and he's going to play better than Lloris, and at the end of the season, Lloris will hand in a transfer request because he wants more playing time.

No concerns at all, if anything (and assuming it's true as reported and not some subterfuge as some cynical types are suggesting) it's a blessing in disguise. It puts other clubs off for a while, just in case the recovery doesn't go as planned, but looking at the urgency with which it's being reported, with no "lengthy spell on the sidelines" comments, it's probably very minor.

Also, unlike some on here, i have faith in Vorm. He showed he is a more than capable keeper in the Premier League and will relish the opportunity.

I'm concerned that he's broken his wrist. But not for any transfer-related reasons.

I didn't even think of a transfer at all. He won't be going anywhere it's just an injury and Vorm will step and be fine as he is a very good keeper.

If it was to angle for a move it would be an inconspicuous injury, not a broken wrist.

He's injured. He's fractured his wrist so he aint going anywhere. He won't be passing any medical(not that i thought he would be going anyway).

Wrest(I'll get coat..) easy folks. Vorm will just need to hold the fort till his return. Will make the United game all the harder though.
