Some guests in my hotel are going to the game as guests of Rafa today - their parents are friends of Rafa's parents.

They have passed on that Rafa loves the White Hart Lane match days, says the crowd are fantastic and the atmosphere is better than at Real Madrid!

Let's all sing out a couple of decibels louder today in support of Rafa and the boys. Can't wait to get there! COYS!

his passion in the big games is really fantastic

obviously would prefer a 4-4-2 but Rafa just adds something special in the big games and I think it g's the other players up too

I love Rafa, one of my favourite Spurs memories of recent times is the 2-3 game at the Emirates, seeing Rafa, with both fists clenched, so delighted and into it! Superb.

And as if this wasn't reason enough, I read an article last night (on their OS, no less :duh:), where Goons' Polish 'keeper says that shouting to his defenders is a massive part of his game, but that it's not worth trying at the Lane 'cos it's just too loud. Great - intimidatify the shi'ite outta the beggars

he genuinely loves it here, not sure how much he rates Redknapp though

I love rafa, but real Madrid are a notoriously quiet crowd.

As far as I remember from a recent interview he rates Redknapp as highly as he does Mourinho, which is very highly. Harry gives the attacking players like VDV a lot of freedom and doesn't over restrict them with too many attacking strategies. Rafa has also said that Harry understands that attacking side of football is very instinctive whereas the defensive side of the game is more tactical.

Still think he's still our joint best player with King, unfortunately they both are so damn injury prone!!

Thing I might love most about him is his celebrations ! He's such a fiery and passionate guy that, whenever he scores, and particularly against the scum, he goes absolutely mental !

The one today was a peach - crowd contact and a kiss on the camera lens

Haha!!! Yeah, I absolutely loved it!!! Could forgive him instantly for not having a very good game. Great players do that, I suppose.

Me too, he put through Adebayor for that one on one, and almost did it in the first half as well, with a very quick thinking ball. If Ade had curved his run he would've been clear. VDV is a very clever footballer in terms of being creative with a football. His brain sees player movement and killer passes in a lightning quick fashion, and he almost plays those kind of balls without seconds pause.

If we'd been a bit sharper up top, he'd be looking at a goal and a couple of assists as well.
