That is such a throw away comment. He is clearly a very good footballer and I personally find it disrespectful to say the opposite just because it looks a lot less likely that we can sign him as he’s at his boyhood team and is their captain.
Always appreciate, welcome and look forward to your ITK, but doesn’t mean I need to agree with your opinion at times. In this case I strongly disagree.

Some people get too serious and personal lol. I am entitled to my opinion, just like the negs and spams. All love buddy. I rate him, but not at the astronomical sums they would want had Villa not win. What’s wrong with that?

Don't worry about it, honestly. Hercs is a good guy & is more than happy for people to question or disagree with his opinion about players.
People forget that he's a member of this site because he's a supporter of THFC & actually likes to chat about them from time to time. His ITK is a completely different thing & sometimes people should remember that.
Harsh. He’s a young lad, after all. He’s looked good throughout the playoffs.

One down so hopefully we can move on to better. We need to have all focus on CL final and recruiting top players. Grealish is a last resort, last minute type of purchase only for a team seeking to be established in the European elite. No disrespect to him in fact nice to see a player in the colours of his favourite club

If Poch and the club want him, then it means I want him. I think all the players we have been linked with publicly are good. And I just want poch to get his first choice signings. IF Grelish is first choice (which I have no idea) then I want us to get him.
However, if Villa winning means we now get our second choice, then I’m disappointed. But if grelish wasn’t first choice, so be it, just hope we get whoever is.

My comprehension should be better. He is not good enough for our first team (like for like as it stands right now). And certainly imho not worth 30m plus etc, etc, etc...

While i have to admit to his obvious ability to look like an otter emerging gracefully from a River jaunt i have seen nothing particularly special in his play.
Not really bothered if that result kills this transfer. New and shiny yes, better? debatable.

I would have just liked to have thought he was someone who we could have gotten with little hassle but with bags of ability too and someone we wouldn't have had to have chased all summer.
Despite being incredibly disappointed at our inability to recruit over the last two windows, I somehow have faith that this summer will be different, it surely has to be. But I think what has happened still has me feeling a slightly different way, I'm still not ready to dismiss 'the likes of Grealish' because I think players such as N'Dombele and Bale are arriving.
