Have very little time for any player who is so one footed that he frequently concedes possession or spurns opportunities for passes, crosses, shots and take-ons because that would involve him using his weaker foot. Spend an hour each day practicing with your weaker foot, you just need a ball and a wall and keep playing it against the wall back to yourself, vary the distance, angle and pace and within 6 months you won't be scared to use your 'weaker' foot it anymore. At 50K+ per week I don't think it is too much to ask.

yeah, I'm sure he's spent absolutely no time trying to improve his right foot and this isn't just simplistic bollocks. I'm also sure you know more about how to improve it than the professional footballer, the professional football club that employs him and the professional football coaches who train him. If only they fucking knew about the old ball and wall trick.

Most one-footed footballers can use their other foot if they really need to, but when you're playing in the toughest, fastest league in the world, you are going to rely on your strongest foot unless you absolutely have to use the weaker one.

Source: all the professional footballers I know that are one-footed

George Best's father would only allow him to play Sunday matches with his weaker foot as a young child, I recall an interview with George where he said he would practice playing a ball against a wall and back to the point where his 'weaker' foot became his stronger one. But he was equally brilliant with either.
Beckham became such a great crosser and dead-ball specialist because he would practice regularly on his own after everyone else had left training.
Practice does not make perfect, but in my experience it most definitely improves a technique or ability so personally I doubt Lamela has made a decent effort to improve his weaker foot, otherwise we would have seen signs of it.
