He's the one who could be the luke shaw if you catch my drift
He was already shouting at Rose in the training video, so it will probably be him

If Jose picks Aurier there will be scenes....
Didn't know he was a healer! It maybe a variation of two

Says who ? Maureen knows all about our squad already and will have decided who is most likely going and who he will be building the team around.its a clean slate for everyone
More than punditry, Mourinho and some of his staff has been at our home games since several weeks. It will be interesting to see what he does. He will have a rough idea who's good or not good enough. He's watched us a few times as a pundit for sky and if you believe reports that we made moves to get him after the Watford game then I'm sure he would have done some extensive research knowing he would eventually get the job.
He's already communicated and implemented his new brand of football? Wow... He works quickly! There are 2 players who would positively consider signing new contracts. Let you guess.
We will be pleasantly surprised by his new brand of football. I hear it is very clever.
Not really this has been in the making since he left Yanited. His change of philosophy that is. As I said earlier don't expect the same old Mourinho tactics, although I'm sure there will be times when shutting up shop is exactly what we need. He's already communicated and implemented his new brand of football? He was on the Debate last night on Sky. I loved his Bale remarks when asked whether he'd be a good signing for Spurs. He said: "He can run, he dribbles, he shoots and can head the ball, he's trific".Does sound an upgrage on Arrys "run around a bit"
Don't think playing with Gazza at right back in a back five will be a good idea.—————————Gazza———————-Aurier-Alderweireld ——-Sanchez—-Rose
—————————-Dier————————
—————-Winks————-NDombele——
———-Son—————————Dele———-
—————————Kane————————
Of course, that's what we expect. I don't think anyone here expects us to go to Bayern and try and outplay them for example. But I don't think we can expect an overly exciting brand of football as we don't have the players to be effective like that. We have the players to play a possession based game with lots of control. That's because our full backs are pony. To play a really exciting brand of football nowadays, you need fantastic attacking full backs, that's why I'm adamant that we should give Sessegnon a go at left back and let him learn the defensive side of things as he gains experience. He could end up being a Marcelo-type full back, rather than an above-average winger. Not really this has been in the making since he left Yanited. His change of philosophy that is. I notice most or all of you guys don't even expect Eriksen to be on the bench. I guess Mourinho quite soon will have a conversation with him on his potential future in Spurs. If Eriksen still is certain on his eager to make a move, I suppose this might be Mourinhos first conflict "here". But what about Toby and Verth? Their contract situations are quite similar..?
If it brings wins then I think we'd all be happy with it. We clearly do not have the players for that super high press anymore and we clearly don't attempt it. I suppose in undoing all the high press tactics Poch forgot to untick the "high defensive line" button in Football Manager.Formation wise and the exact player that will be involved will be as much about fitness as it will be Mourinhos preferred set up. So I don't feel like that is the most interesting aspects. I do believe we'll see the following.
1) Don't forget that Pochettino always has played a very high line. It served us well during his first seasons when the whole team pressed the opponents all over the pitch. I believe that's the first major tactical change Mourinho will make. We will drop a bit deeper with our back four. The gut reaction is naturally that is "NOT THE TOTTENHAM WAY!" - But let's be honest we're crying out for some defensive stability. I'm not talking about parking the bus. Under Pochettino we had an unusually high back line. I'm certain Mourinho will acknowledge that and rectify it.
2) I wouldn't be if surprised Son and / or Lucas / Sessegnon being will be asked to play as designated wingers. And by that I mean wingers that actually stays on the wings and stretches the opponents team. Far too many times have we seen how our attacking players occupy the same areas and gets in each others way. Also something that Mourinho surely has identified as a problem when transitioning from defence to attack.
3) Kane will be asked stay central as much as possible and not drop back to receive the ball. Kane has looked great for England doing the exact opposite at times but I believe Mourinho likes having a designated central striker.
All in all Mourinho likes specialist players with designated tasks on the pitch. And to be honest I believe that will suit a lot of players in this Spurs team. Yes, it's not as glamorous as the total football of Guardiola but it's simple and it's efficient.
Ndombele is much more suited to the modern Lampard description than Dele. He's going to go 433 which is his preferred formation and I reckon that he's gonna try and turn Dele into a modern Lampard.
