Of course we'll save on wages, but maybe a stumbling block regarding a loan could be our need to sell as opposed to loan in order to generate funds for new player acquisitions.

I don’t think he’s suited to the premier league. Spain or Italy would be ideal imo. I say sell and ensure a large sell on fee is included as I’ve no doubt he’ll come good, just not in England

I think this guy will do great with Bielsa. Language and system fits Foyth. Plus, I feel him being seen as a premier league player with experience on a newly promoted team will force him to step up, which can give a player confidence in a positive way.

Where is he? What’s happening with him? Is he leaving, does he have corona, is he injured? Did he get a squad number?

He's in our PL squad, but lost his place in the UEFA one as Davies is considered foreign in UEFA competitions. In other words he won't get any game time and should get away from us as soon as possible.

No. Including Davies and Foyth we are currently at 17 non HGs in our first team squad. Foyth loses his place if we sign a non HG I imagine.

They offered a loan fee which was laughable. It was one foyth of what we were hoping for.

Sorry:unsure:

Going over the squad it actually looks like the reason why Foyth have been left out of the UEFA squad is because Clarke has been prefered. While CCV is registered for UEFA, one of four club trained players (only Rose could have taken his place), despite not being registered for PL even if it seem we have a spot open for him.

Confusing, and I believe the squads can be edited at transfer deadline for the league and group stage for UEFA - perhaps even up until the qualification match.

Clarke is english though isn't he? Or has the squad been released that's travelled and I'm confusing it with registration?

Clarke is english or home grown, but he counts as senior player in UEFA competition.
UEFA got rule that say player have had to been with a club for two years to be allowed on the B list of the squad (ie U21). So Sessegnon, Clarke and Gedson are considered seniors for UEFA, but U21 and no need to be registered in the 25 man squad for PL football.

UEFA also operate with club trained and association trained within the home grown quota. So 4 of the spots are for club trained, if a club don't have that number then they can't register the max 25 for their squad. Only 3 club trained, then only 24 players can be registered on the A list.

Valencia wants Foyth on loan and they believe they can convince him that he will get minutes

It kind of says we are not yet clear on players future - whether to just loan or sell him...

I would rather he went out on loan than sold, as I believe he is a tidy player that I still have hopes that he has a future with us, and that he needs to be playing regular to develop. However, that development is ideally needed on loan to a Premier League club , or even Championship club, as opposed to Valencia or abroad.

Talk of CCV going to Bournemouth isn’t there?

One of the complications here is that we'll only do a straight loan (ie: no obligation to buy) if he also signs an extension to his contract.

There is, but at the moment he's also registered for Europa League play.
Gareth Bale is club trained for us, so will probably as soon as it's allowed take his place in the Europa League squad, whether CCV leaves or not.
