After coach Dury was already almost gone at Zulte Waregem, now watch just about all contributors to the exit. That midfielder Jonathan Delaplace leaves the vice champion, according to his management already certain. And he is not alone. According to his French management company IS Consulting is 'no chance' that bites Delaplace know at Zulte Waregem. There has also been discussed with Club Brugge and Anderlecht, where Jonathan prefer to Anderlecht. But Jonathan leaves at Zulte Waregem's for sure. " Both Club and Anderlecht keep the boat: "No contacts!"

Okay, your guess is as good as mine in regards to what that article actually says. But it links us and Everton to him.

He's an 18 year old CDM who played over 39 matches for Belgian Pro League's SV Zulte-Waregem that finished 2nd.

That's pretty impressive at least. Scored 3 goals and had 2 assists.

Junior Malanda was one of the revelations the Belgian league last season, together with Thorgan Hazard. He is a defensive midfielder who is extremely powerful for his age (like Lukaku). He is made for the PL and got alot of potential, but not ready yet to be a starter with us. A buy with a loan back or a loan to a team like Anderlecht would be the most interesting imo.

As for Hazard, he already was one of the best players last season and got a very bright future ahead of him as well. Strangely, Chelsea are looking to sell him instead of loaning him out again. Consensus in Belgian media is he'll end up at Anderlecht as well. Would keep my eye on his development if I was Franco Baldini.

I would also find it strange if Chelski will sell Thorgan Hazard, as he's by some seen as a potentially better player than his brother. And after a season he's been dong rather well I find it even stranger. Wonder if this really has legs, as Chelski can afford to keep him and wait how things turns out. But I fully understand why Thorgan would want to leave, seeing the wealth of talent Chelksi got and the abundance of player loaned out. Wouldn't mind Thorgan at Spurs, together with Lukaku (though it won't happen...).
LB Jordan Lukaku as another brother Spurs should have a look at.
As for Malanda it's too early to say, but if Sandro recovers fully and stay injury free for the next few years I can see bigger clubs ready to make silly offers for him - so Spurs may need a replacement sooner rather than later.

He belongs to Chelsea.

I think Zakaria Bakkali is a better talent and is only 17.

Snarf, I'm always amazed at the players that you know about. Here I thought I had a large mental database of players, but you always astound me.

You're either a genuine football scout, a sad git who does nothing but watch football from the most random leagues, or the world's most addicted FM gamer. :p

Hahah, I actually was exposed to Bakkali during the the Tuolon Tournament just this past year. He's a squatty little fella but with that came some good strength on the ball and a really strong dribbling ability. I just remember watching him and being truly impressed by his ability to penetrate into the heart of defenses despite his size. He's about 5'5" but he's a quick little fella. Reminded me a little bit of Aguero (Style, not necessarily skill).

Hasn't Malanda bought out his contract and is effectively a free agent?
