You mean it's as if the vast bulk of sales money doesn't go to Nike, because they pay us a fortune for making the kit.

It's why Liverpool and Man U get such big kit deals. But when we start shifting millions of tops we'll get a better kit deal ... oh wait .... 15 year deal you say ...?

I think Liverpool accepted less money up front for a cut of the sales and they're making even more

he been any good?
Well, it’s fairly obvious he’s a level above the rest of the players (besides the other foreign imports like Renato Augusto and Jonathan Vieira). He looks super comfortable on the ball. And has dealt with the little defensive work he’s had to with little trouble. It’s just that the overall standard is so poor. Think he’d need a fair amount of time to acclimatise to premier league level.

I'm not really a Foyth fan, but I'd rather keep him or look for another defender playing in Europe. I like us casting our net far and wide in our scouting though so cant complain we are looking at him, its just I share your concerns about the weakness of the league he currently plays in. Chalk and cheese between that and the premier league.

I've seen people talking about this deal elsewhere. We're still interested in getting this done. Chinese transfer window works slightly differently, hence the delay. Could we'll go the distance, but he's not seen as a prinary for the start of the season so that's not an issue.

Seen him a couple of times since linked. One negative that stuck out was his tendancy to rush forward out of defence to try and win balls he had little, to no chance of winning.

Thus resulting in a player having plenty of space to run in behind him.

Of course, still considered young for a CB, but whilst looks good going forward with the ball, I reckon he'll certainly need some coaching as to when to 'stick or twist'.

Maybe it was just the couple of games I watched, but it was weird. You'd see him constantly looking at what attackers were doing him around him, a great trait, switched on. Then he'd rush out with no chance of winning the ball, and leave gaping hole in behind him.

Like I say, this was only a couple of games, but something that jumped out at me.

Similiar to Kaboul. Tendency to rush out of defense winning the ball back and got called out...

The shirt sales won't do much but definitely builds on a massive market we are developing in South Korea through Son.
