Announced he's leaving at the end of the season. Top guy and manager. Odds on for Man City with some bookies.

Unfortunately, won't be us, but would love to see him in the EPL.

Can't really see where else he could go right now. Real Madrid maybe ?

I hadn't thought of that. Madrid is a great shout if Ancelotti goes. I think Klopp wants to go to England though.

If Man City don't get into the CL this season. People might not want to go there. Big money yes. But an aging squad that needs replacing, while being hindered by ffp. It will take a lot of work.

Dortmund forums seem to be putting Tuchel at the top of the replacement mix. They would do well with him.

Real Madrid - possible, even likely……..seems Carlo's days are numbered although if he wins the CL who knows?
Arsenal - I'm feeling a slight tingling in my wee-wee that when Wenger does quit, it'll come out of nowhere
Man City - Blatant favourites IMO but if he's got any sense…….

Another club will come out of the woodwork surely. The QPR gig might be free soon.

No one will ever get respected for achieving there either.

If you win the league, it's because your City and you bought it. Too much expectation.

He's one of the only managers I'd sack Poch for right now, tbh. Unfortunately, city have found themselves a manager.

The situation has City written all over it, unfortunately.

Analysis of Jurgen's quotes during the press conference:

  • he is not sure he is still the right manager for the club at this moment in this situation so he felt he needs to make a professional and honest decision and leave the club

  • he is not tired, does not plan a sabbatical

  • has no contact to any other club

  • wants to focus 100% on the rest of the season and try hard to win the national cup (DFB Pokal)

If he takes the Brentford job, I would be willing to send Pritchard there for one more season.

Same principle applies at Chelsea but Mourinho's rep has hardly suffered for it.

Tuchel is brilliant - fits Dortmund perfectly imo.

RE Klopp, it's between Arsenal and City imo, probably City.

He's said he wants to work in England, and if he takes a year off, I can see Arsenal going for him, with Wenger moving upstairs.
City seem to waiting for Guardiola to finish his contract at Bayern, so not sure if they'll actually go for Klopp, or just stick with Manuel for another season and wait for Pep.

Could get very interesting imo - shame it's never gonna be us.

Think it's the DM who are saying that if they finish 5th they will have a budget similar to Everton's for next season as they won't have the CL income. No way a big manager would take that.
Personally, if we have no chance of 4th, I'd rather City stay there than Liverpool get in again.
