Tuchel is brilliant - fits Dortmund perfectly imo.

RE Klopp, it's between Arsenal and City imo, probably City.

He's said he wants to work in England, and if he takes a year off, I can see Arsenal going for him, with Wenger moving upstairs.
City seem to waiting for Guardiola to finish his contract at Bayern, so not sure if they'll actually go for Klopp, or just stick with Manuel for another season and wait for Pep.

Could get very interesting imo - shame it's never gonna be us.
Tuchel would be the perfect fit for Dortmund.

City might have been waiting for Guardiola but another great manager has just fallen on their door step. You have to go for it. If Arsenal gets Klopp when Wenger retires, we'll be fucked.

There was talk of Benitez being parachuted in to manage City for a year until Guardiola was ready, but I wonder whether Klopp being available changes all of that.

He's a manager who I'd love to see in the Premier League. It's just a shame it'll almost certainly be at a club I dislike intensely.

On the face of it City doesn't seem like a project that would particularly excite Klopp for the reasons already stated, and also the fact that there's only few member of the existing squad who seem capable of a pressing game, which is the only way he knows. Unfortunately money counts for a much these days and he may have his head turned by the salary. I'd be sad to see that happen though.

I wonder if this might panic Arsenal's owners into doing something drastic ?

There aren't many managers who could be deemed worth offing Wenger for, but he must be one of the names on that incredibly small list, possibly along with Guardiola.
Guys who's philosophy's would fit arsenal (owners/players/set up) to a tee.

I really can't see Guardiola ever ending up at ManC. ManU maybe, but not City.

I wondered if a few clubs owners may panic into doing something. Arsenal are the best fit for Klopp at the moment but what about United. Ok Van Gaal is doing good now but he's not getting any younger and there have been rumours of his strict regime not going down too well with so well at the club. Could be a long term appointment.

Man City seems like where he will go but I think he would prefer a project.

Don't think he'll be short of offers

The City money factor doesn't play as much of a role as it has done anymore.

FFP has certainly clipped their wings to an extent. They haven't bought particularly well either up to this point.

They are now just another club at the top with plenty to spend if needs be. No different from United, Chelsea, even Arsenal.

I would say Man City is not a good fit for Klopp, I don't think it's a guarantee that he will go there. He strikes me as an honourable man, looking to leave his legacy somewhere. Arsenal would be a good fit for him, if wenger does decide to leave.

Man City won't have the patience for Klopp, took him until his 3rd season to get Dortmund ticking properly. I think Arsenal are probably the best fit for him, despite that making me feel a little bit sick.

Real Madrid - possible, even likely……..seems Carlo's days are numbered although if he wins the CL who knows?
Arsenal - I'm feeling a slight tingling in my wee-wee that when Wenger does quit, it'll come out of nowhere
Man City - Blatant favourites IMO but if he's got any sense…….

Another club will come out of the woodwork surely. The QPR gig might be free soon.
That's a decent and at the same time horrific shout.

Think it's gonna be Real.

For me that phase in December when we beat Chelsea and Arsenal was what Poch is aiming for. For his first season with players that are not "his", I think he has done a good job. I must still say I was hoping Tim would be given a proper chance at the end of last season considering where he got us. Based on what he is doing at Villa, it shows that he is a good manager. But Poch is obviously good as well - it's just that seeming lack of adventure in the team make up and the seeming lack of a Plan B is what has me worried sometimes.

Klopp like to do things his way and should Wenger step down as manager for Arsenal he would, naturally, like to keep his influence of how they play....something I am pretty sure Klopp would not want.
Not sure if ManC are ready to give him time to rebuild. Bayern have Pep. And Real M. won't give him more than 1 season to win La Liga and the CL.
Tottenham really is the best fit for Klopp

Klopp like to do things his way and should Wenger step down as manager for Arsenal and become a board member or some sort of DoF etc, he would, naturally, like to keep his influence of how they play....something I am pretty sure Klopp would not want. He doesn't want to live in the shadow of Wenger (well, that's my guess anyway).
Not sure if ManC are ready to give him time to rebuild (although Pellegrini's days for sure must be numbered).. Bayern have Pep. And Real M. won't give him more than 1 season to win La Liga and the CL or they'll sack you (ops, even if you do wint both tiltles you risk being sacked).
Tottenham really is the best fit for Klopp - partly because Spurs already have Freund  I really blame Levy now for sacking Tim so soon

Shame we are not a big enough club to attract him and replace the 'poor mans Bielsa' we have in charge with his flawed system....

Three points:
1. Arsenal's squad is perfect for him - he could take them to the next level unfortunately and their ownership is patient
2. As A&C said - it took him a few seasons at BD to get it right - a quick analysis of our fans (though hopefully for once not a reflection of the ownership) suggests that in his first year getting to a final, beating the champions elect and our biggest rival, bringing through young players into the national side, improving some of those young players, acting honorably on and off the field, taking an interest in the youth team and keeping our few stars on side would probably leave to 50% calling for him to be sacked
3. What you are still reading JK.....go back to point 1 and start again!

I fear that your concerns about Wenger/Arsenal might well be valid. Annoyingly I can see them having excellent succession planning.
