Klopp like to do things his way and should Wenger step down as manager for Arsenal and become a board member or some sort of DoF etc, he would, naturally, like to keep his influence of how they play....something I am pretty sure Klopp would not want. He doesn't want to live in the shadow of Wenger (well, that's my guess anyway).
Not sure if ManC are ready to give him time to rebuild (although Pellegrini's days for sure must be numbered).. Bayern have Pep. And Real M. won't give him more than 1 season to win La Liga and the CL or they'll sack you (ops, even if you do wint both tiltles you risk being sacked).
Tottenham really is the best fit for Klopp - partly because Spurs already have Freund  I really blame Levy now for sacking Tim so soon

He won't give 2 f*cks about a shadow if Wenger goes upstairs. He's not David Moyes. Wenger has run a good ship for many years but not a prolific one in terms of recent trophies. Fergie was winning until the last. Unfortunately, arsenal are probably the perfect club for him - and knowing our luck, he will be off there and be amazing.

It seems these top managers are smart enough to avoid City - considering their (multiple) money influxes, Svennigans/Hughes/Mancini/Pellegrini isn't an amazing list of managers.. I don't see what is there for Klopp apart from a massive rebuilding job, unless their investment in the youth system is ready to bear any fruit yet?

Why would Arsenal send Wenger "upstairs" unless they wanted to his input in how Arsenal should be run/play?
Fergie had hardly anything to do with Moyes after he retired; in fact, part of Moyes poor work was maybe because he was to eager to make ManU his "own" team and fired several of the staff who had a prominent role in Fergie's success.

Many believe that Wenger will assume the DOF role at Arsenal.

Fucking hell that's all rather desperate and pathetic from Samuel, using the Mail for your own supporting agenda to hire a manager way out Spams league, I hope Sunday Supplement have a laugh at his expense.

Don't think that he'll go to City (unless he's got a big tax bill to pay or something).

I think he would prefer a different type of challenge, a project. I honestly believe that if there was a vacancy at a big, under achieving club like ours or Liverpool then that would be his preferred choice.

Someone mentioned the Arsewipe earlier, I could also see that happening.

Good move for Klopp, good move for Tuchel, good move for Dortmund.

Think Klopp will end up at Arsenal or Liverpool, but would love to see him at Newcastle if Ashley sold to someone with ambition.

Klopp and Arsenal would be a fantastic sight if I didn't hate them as much as I do. Loath as I am to admit it, they're a proper football club with a great history of playing the right way and giving people time - and Klopp would be absolutely perfect.

Klopp will go to City, because he wants to still be challenging for titles, but most importantly he probably sees the PL as a chance to bump up his retirement fund whilst his stock is still high enough.

Let's face it, managers come and go fast, so he to a degree will likely just want to ensure he cashes in on the big bucks whilst they are still floating around and why not...

I am in 2 minds regarding wanting Klopp to Spurs (admitting that the chances of him joining would be very slim anway).
One part of me would like to another club come in and offered Poch a deal he and Spurs would accept (nah, I don't want another sacking yet again), which would leave the door open for Klopp.
I do like Poch's philosophy of high pressure, entertaining attacking football built very much on Bielsa's philosophy (which has, amongst others, influenced Pep Guardiola's system and) and that of Barca but it seem that Barca is the only team that can "master" such a system over longer periods of time (even they were found out in the end somehow), since it requires players with exquisite ball skills, speed of thought, deep understanding amongst the players, intense work rate etc etc.... while it evident Jose's more boring and cynical style of play, with main emphasize on defence and counter attacks, seem (much) more effective. Klopp also showed how effect Bor Dort. could be on counter attacks.
Klopp with Ray Clement (assistant head coach at Real M.) could have been a good combination.
But, another part of me says, we should have faith in Poch and have the club foucs 100 % on him and his way of building up the club. Thing is, if - repeating IF - it's true he's already fallen out with players (not saying it's true) like Worm, Kaboul, Chiriches, Capoue, Dembele, Ade then I am a bit concerned about his man-agment skills
