Would it be an exaggeration to say that was our worst 45 minutes of football under Jose? I genuinely can’t remember worse.

Antwerp was pretty shockingly bad - Bournemouth away was also so so bad. So was Everton at home this season

how long will it take until people stop name blaming x or y whenever we're struggling and start questioning the collective shortcoming in the offensive process? really curious...

I think we’ll see Dele for the second half tbh. Perfect opportunity for him to show he can still change a game.

What a shocking half, we got saved by a last minute penalty

Our pressing is non existent, I don’t know why Jose sets up like this

Doherty has been shit as usual, what a awful signing he’s been. Reguilon shows us how a good LB looks like. Bale is a finished footballer and Lucas is ass

Dele and Aurier has to come on, and we need to press them when we lose the ball

it's hard to understand some of the defensive positioning. Players covering space when there are uncovered players in their vicinity. Committing to tackles in positions ranging from weak to no support. and some of them seem to be on their heels when they do go in for a tackle. really ugly at the moment but expect they will come out flying the second half.

That right hand side is a shambles, Bale isn't tracking back and Doherty might as well change his name to Gary, I'd be tempted to swap Lucas and Bale over if that's the case.

Yep. Doherty isn’t covering himself in glory but he’s basically defending the whole right third of the pitch on his own. No help from central midfield because with Holbjerg in there on his own he’s got too much ground to cover. The other two midfielders don’t seem to fancy the hard work in there tonight.

These lot, rapid Vienna, and especially rb salzburg; the Austrian sides love playing high press systems, a much more developed footballing culture than say Bulgaria and Ludogorets. No excuse for our shit performance. Players need to wake up. Europa league in freezing temps in Austria isn’t exactly one to get the players motivated, though once again it shouldn’t be an excuse. Although a draw is enough, and I don’t care if we’re hanging on at the end as long as we get a result.

Seeing as the game is a total pone fest so far, I need help finding a YouTube video.
It’s of a sort of 90’s, early 2000’s premier league footballer. A black player I think. Possibly played for Liverpool and other prem teams. It’s like a parody skills video of match clips and little things flash up on the screen like “omg skills” and stuff like that. It’s very funny as I remember. Some really bad free kicks in it and shots etc.
I can’t for the life of me remember the player, or find the video.

Any ide

ah it’s ok. Found it.
