Welcome to the Leeds Vs Spurs Match Thread! COYS!

We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

Good day all, I have nothing :(
OK, I'll have a go.
Lose three in a row, rally to beat Man City away and then lose at Burnley. It's never straightforward at Tottenham is it? Conte is practically begging to get sacked and our bubble is well and truly burst after the euphoria of the weekend. Meanwhile Arsenal post back to back wins and move six points clear of us. We need to respond and we need a pliable opponent ripe and ready to be beaten. Leeds look like the perfect candidates. An attacking outfit with talented players, but wide open and defensively appalling. We need to do nothing less than go to Elland Road and bring home three points. No excuses, no caveats, no sob stories. They have shipped 16 goals in their last four games and six of them in midweek at Anfield. I expect us to win as I expect us to go to Leeds with a positive attitude, get after them and trust that our attackers are better than theirs. We seem incapable of clean sheets these days so I foresee a 3-1 win. COYS!

Will watch and hope we win. But if we win and weaken ourselves for the Boro game and lose that one, to me it will be a wasted win
We need to rest, rotate and recuperate.

I don’t know how they can do it or what works for them individually but our players simply has to start summon their inner masters of the dark arts. It shouldn’t be that hard for elite football players to hate losing games but clearly it’s what plenty of them don’t do.

It’s somewhere to start for Conte and the team for the rest of the season starting against Leeds. Lord knows we can’t afford to be weak in mentality at a possible rocking Elland Road if they get behind their team.

Leeds are the perfect side for us to play against especially when we’ve got a quality manager

Should win, even though we’re away from home and historically Elland Rd is a very hostile & intimidating ground to visit

Even though they are a bit shit and are missing their most important two players, I'm dreading this. I just hope we're able to score 3 goals or I don't think we'll come away with 3 points.

It could be a fun 4-3, but that relies on us showing up and we know we're not reliable. If we make a couple of chances in the first 10 mins, we should be ok. If we're standing off them and passing sideways, it could be Dr Tottenham to Leeds' rescue.

Bentancur is a huge loss for us. Assuming Winks will be starting. Not sure the team has the cajones to bounce back tbh and if I was a Leeds fan I'd see this as the perfect game after their smashing by Liverpool.
Love to see a Spurs win but don't think we will. Leeds 2-0.

Bentancur is a huge loss for us.

We really haven't performed that well with Bentancur on pitch generally, however we performed very well under Conte with Skipp on pitch. While Bentancur might have impact on longer term, right now I'm more anxious to get Skipp back.

However seems they are having it worse on injury front with Cooper, Philips and Bamford out.

Leeds top the league for goals conceded.

COYS time to get this season back on track.

We have to deal with their man to man press today.

Playing us after playing Liverpool gives Leeds a battle ready advantage.

Will Conte get the reaction he is looking for from the players?

Winky - Hobby Central Midfield does not bode well.
