By the way it just goes to show how lucky Sterling was to score so many goals for City. He needs half a dozen chances to score once but that wasn't a problem with De Bruyne, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Mahrez and co supplying him.

From The Shed End..

I don't think it is all on him because I think the owners have thrown crazy money at mediocre players, but what has Pochettino even done so far? It's like he has picked off where we left off. He's been here since June and I couldn't tell you single thing that has changed. The football is exactly the same as it was when Lampard was here, when Potter was here and even under the worst parts of Tuchel. Even if the players are sh*t, why isn't he atleast trying to change it to fit his image? Does he not have his own style of football?

OOOF..

I'd have took 9th before the season started so I'd be happy with that.

Inside I'm furious but I'm realistic about the squad we have, our competition this season was always Fulham, Brentford, Palace, West Ham not the big clubs.

Very hard to see us finishing above a club like West Ham when they have so much more quality than us.

Bowen, Antonio, Paqueta probably even Benrahma all walk into our attack.

One win in five games and that win came at home to Luton, arguably the worst promoted team in years.

Let's hope Poch doesn't get a deflected freekick that changes his fortunes this time.

Watching Poch's press conference on SSN and I dont miss his waffly, talking in riddles style at all.

Another poor performance. He'll be sacked by Xmas.

I heard him saying before the game that Chelsea need to be nastier (or was it dirtier?). Can you imagine those words coming out of Ange?

So how totally pap is Nicolas Jackson. Coming off the back of an ok(ish) season for Villarreal he seems to have been likened to Drogba by all of the Chelsea fans (based purely on the fact he is a black striker that has signed for Chelsea).

If he had joined any other club and not been touted as the saviour of that grotesque club then I’d be inclined to give him more time. However, he doesn’t and I’m not and from what I’ve seen so far he looks bang effing average.

Couldn’t hit a barn door if he was put two inches infront of it, and apart from being a physical presence he doesn’t actually have a single top quality attribute to his game.

Compare him to John Duran at Villa. 19 years old, physical presence, fast and an absolute bullet of a left foot. He will get all the time he needs as he hasn’t been touted as the latest Chelsea superstar.

Don’t get my started on Mudryk………

i think it’s a little unfair. We have a striker WITH premiership experience thy we spent a lot of money in and hasn’t exactly set the world alight here has he. Like many players, I suspect he needs time to adjust and is also playing with a team who couldn’t build a spaghetti tower if they were given instructions with drawings.

How the hell have they spent so much money and ended up with a teamsheet like that?
Where the hell are the star players that sort of money should have brought in?!

Didn't expect there to be a day where I could name more players in a Luton matchday squad off of the top of my head before a Chelsea one. What a mess they've made of that. God I hope that this is the end of them having sunk so much cash and tied themselves to a few of these absolute anchors for the next 8 years.

Obviously not the same budget but we were heading that way if we hadn't of binned off Hitchin, we were actually a few stages into mediocre player oblivion if were being brutally honest.
