Andy Goldstein on talksport was talking about Sancho as well yesterday, he says he has contacts in the club and Sancho's time keeping has been terrible, he's been asked to go to see manager and not turned up and basically he feels he should start every game and wants to play on the left. I know people are holding off on criticising him because he may or may not also have some mental health issues but if that is true then it's also linked to his own over inflated ego and lack of professionalism.
It's probably a mixture of both manager and player. So I wouldn't lay 100% of the blame at one or the other.

United spending this whole week slamming Sancho & destroying his value because he responded to his manager publicly slating him. Yet apparently covered for Antony beating his partner & went through hell to try to bring Greenwood back. Arnold, Ten Hag & the rest of them there need to be fired.

The same sort of allegations were said when he was at City and Dortmund though. He does appear to have form.
Dortmund seem to manage it though, but Sancho does seem to have a major attitude problem.

Interesting about wanting to play on left as well, wingers just seem to want to play inverted all the time now, making it tricking to get players who want to play on right (when before there were issues getting left footers for the left!).

I also notice he didn’t get given the number 7 shirt in summer, which I reckon he’d have wanted, instead oddly giving it to Mason Mount?

Problem is Rashford plays on left as well so gonna be tricky getting into team.

I always thought Sancho was effective on right as well, but seems to not want tomplay that side.

When you look at the standard of signings they have made over the last decade, the vast waste of money, the concerns about the ownership and now more recently all the problems with some of their players which are potentially extremely serious. You have to think that Utd are probably the worst run 'big' club in Europe.

Are you saying Anthony’s not worth 80 million?

Tbh 60 mil on the danish kid is a huge gamble it could go either way

Any one else got concerns over the manager

Not forgetting greenwood and Anthony off fiel issues, they make us look like world beaters

The worse thing is that we all know within 2 years maximum he’ll be back in a United kit, if you want to get rid of him you terminate the contract, not loan him.

It will be prison or a United shirt in 2 years.

Ofc his hard to know if he is guilty, the fact no one has come out and said it wasn’t him, only implied it was, I think is pretty damming.

I think ETH will be gone before the end of this season. I think he is out of his depth but is also not helped by the entire club being a total mess from top to bottom.

I think SAF himself would be out of his depth in this version of United.

WTH happened to Sancho? Looked like a generational talent in his first season at Dortmund, been going downhill ever since.

I absolutely HATE the term 'generational talent' - he looked a good young player with a lot of potential at Dortmund, thats it. Let's not try to pretend he was anything other than that. He was SHITE every time he played for England even when he was looking great for Dortmund, the warning signs were there.

How many players look good playing for Southgate's England? The majority perform better for their clubs.

Sancho had some professionalism issues at Dortmund but his output on the pitch was fantastic and they still haven't replaced him.

He prefers to play on the left because that's his best position, he can play well on the right though.

He works really well with overlapping full backs, Man Utd don't have a good overlapping right back and them signing him stinks of signing a very talented young player but not having an actual plan for him once he gets there.

I didn't realize how good he was for Dortmund. 83 (goals/assists) in 104 Bundesliga games

Ok I get that but he looked absolutely shite for England, he didn't look like a good player at all (in my opinion). The drop off was enormous. I agree on Utd not really knowing what to do with him or having a plan but there has been nothing to suggest that Sancho has really done his best to try and force his way into the team either, rather he has thrown a strop instead.

Pickford, Maguire, Stones, Shaw, Sterling, Kane, Bellingham, Rice, Rashford, Grealish, Foden, Saka…

I know people have it in for Southgate but really.

His stats were excellent yes but we also need to remember the German league is quite poor.

I was quite excited to watch him play against us at Wembley in the CL. He was so poor and ineffective so for me the question marks have been there
