You just know that whatever the outcome, the press will spin it in such a way that we’ll be made to look like the bad guys in all this.

I’m sure most people are aware of the Justin Edinburgh foundation JE3 which was set up by his son Charlie after Justin sadly past away last year. For those not aware the foundation is trying to raise funds to introduce legislation ensuring that all sports facilities (gyms etc) have to, by law, have defibrillator’s readily available. The link below explains further along with the Just Giving page.

Could all be asymptomatic mate. They may not have known
Yeah, but they've already said that there was "a bug" going round their squad. If it was asymptomatic, they'd have my sympathies but in this case, it would suggest that there were quite a few showing symptoms of something and even if it's just a common cold, they should've behaved more responsibly.

I'm quite surprised that we're the only ones in this situation. You'd imagine the other PL/Champ teams would have organised testing like we did.

I’ve seen a rumour that Newcastle are one of the few prem teams to not sort out testing for their LC opponent, Morecambe.

I wonder if they are regretting that now.. Mike Ashley probably happy to take the risk and save the cash.

Not that it’s really in doubt but if there was any chance that the game might still go ahead tonight, the official Spurs twitter page would be posting the usual anodyne tweets about the upcoming game that it always does on match day.

But there’s nothing about it at all. Suggests to me that they already know.

Bruce has just said Newcastle haven’t for Morecombe. Idiots.

I’m losing my patience and good will with Leyton Orient. We’ve paid for them to be tested in the first place, we’ve offered to pay their losses on TV coverage and continue to raffle our shirts for the JE Foundation and yet their chairman is still pleading with the football league to fuck our packed schedule further, completely ignore the rules that every club agreed to over no postponements and put our players at risk because even if the fixture was moved to next Tuesday, all of their fucking players would still be self isolating.
And there's no guarantee that the match would be televised even if it was rearranged so they could lose out either way.

I'm just astounded that no protocol has been created for this sort of thing.

Did the FA and EFL really think they were going to go through the season without at least one outbreak at a team? They must have discussed what happens in scenarios where there's an outbreak and having to rearrange fixtures - Surely? The EFL and FA should have come up with some suggestions before the season and put them to a vote to the clubs and avoid this stupid squabbling.

Was it really that difficult to put something in place? They could easily have come up with scenarios for both league and cup games which include postponing, rescheduling, cancellations etc.
