So its been postponed

I guess we will play them next week and then we will be a round behind everyone else

Not necessarily. No announcement about whether to be rearranged, or it being awarded

Masterclass from Levy, postpone it this week, schedule it for next week and then have them forfeit day of. Game Set Daniel 7D Hopscotch

Could be but postpone generally means it would happen at a later date... either way it is definitely the correct decision regardless of the fact we are playing on Thursday

Their manager said their team were all ill but it's "not covid" despite not being tested. You would assume if a majority of your team were ill during a pandemic it's probably best to get tested
I didn’t know that. It’s this sort of behaviour that should get them fined and docked points tbh

It would possibly benefit us if they postponed it til next week (only if they’re all negative by then of course). That way we play them instead of Chelsea next week 2 days before a Europa tie. Then play Chelsea a few weeks later, without having to worry about a game 2 days after. Also hopefully Bale would be back by then. Not the worst decision if it happened.

They were prepared to, and the difference if you haven't been around for last few months is we are in middle of a pandemic.

They forfeited the right to special consideration in that respect the instant they selfishly and recklessly decided to carry on playing games in the knowledge that most of their squad was ill and that they hadn’t been tested.

Anyone else a bit worried we play Newcastle after they play a side that's not been tested?

Yeah, but Sky.

The point being no one knows if it’s been postponed (which means we’d have to play it at a later date) or whether it’s just cancelled and we go through.

So it’s a big difference and we don’t know what the outcome is yet. So saying it’s been postponed is not accurate as things stand.
