A lot of sites have him down as 6ft3 so I dunno how tall he actually is

Those sites are wrong he's definitely around 6'3.

Have watched him play next to Gary Cahill who is 6'4.

From my own possibly inaccurate eye test he's not a spectacular header of the ball, but wins aerial duels.

Stats may not back that up.

He's very assured with the ball.

I believe was an England U21 player, linked with all the big clubs including us when he went to Bournemouth for more minutes which has paid off.

Remember the first time I saw him was playing for the England Under 21’s & was so impressed with him I had to look him up, was with Bristol City.

last season isn’t now is it. He’s shit and has a poor injury record. But you be happy with him.

If he comes we’ll spend 3 years trying to sell him. Did we learn nothing with Rodon.

we don’t have to spend big for an elite CB with Romero and VDV here, just fast CB’s suitable for a high line and 2 of them (if Sanchez leaves). Sure Rodon didn’t work but not everyone does.

The window ain’t great but if we get him, Gallagher and Johnson we at least have some depth front to back. However If this guy is it and Gallagher and Johnson don’t come then yeh the window is shit and the club after the Kane sale have let the fans down and the manager down and should be ashamed of themselves for leaving us short once again.

FYI he grew up with his siblings in foster care from the age of 8.

Literally had nothing and worked his socks off to get where he is.

That is ridiculously impressive, glad he got his chance to get to where he has in football but it's not going to be a factor in whether he should join Spurs.

I was going to say, I pay £1,300 for my season ticket and the owners and our recruitment team want to deliver Kelly, Gallagher and Johnson having sold Kane? Is this some kind of a wind up?
The recruitment team also delivered Vicario, Van de Ven, and Maddison this window.

The recruitment team also delivered Vicario, Van de Ven, and Maddison this window.

Feels like there has been a big shift behind the scenes since then. Felt like we were being calculated and using data properly.

Now it just seems to be sign any old HG player at all costs even if they're midtable level as we are panicking. The profiles and high potential players have gone out of the window.

Think lumping gallagher in with the other two is harsh. He's a very good player who would definitely improve us.

Fucking hell sometimes players have bad games. I think basing your opinion off a random website’s rating of a specific website is dumb, I responded in the way I did to show it means little.

I’ve seen him play quite a few times live for Bournemouth. We played against him last weekend. Not exactly dumb to remember back to last Saturday. Quite the opposite in fact.

IIRC, Nick didn’t want Maddison. 😛

Correct, had major concerns over his work rate and pressing mainly. Some concerns over his speed of play in the final third too. He's been outstanding so far though and long may it continue.

I would say there is a slight difference in terms of status, profile and ability between Maddison and the players we are now being linked to though.

One positive I can find on this. This analyst is class on twitter, one with the most knowledge there, so at least there’s some potencial Ange could harvest here
