Can someone describe the goal(s). Sky text isn’t telling me much
First goal, City try to play out from the back, Ederson plays it to Rodri, Bentancur presses and the ball goes to Kulu who calmly hits one low with his left foot under Ederson.

Second goal, Kane is set through on goal but Stones beats him to it and knocks it out wide. Kulusevski onto it who then slips Kane in down the line. Rodri gets to the ball first but Kane slides in and comes away with it and from a very tight angle smashes it, Ederson gets gloves to it but only palms it out to Pele who calmly heads it into the goal.

We attacked for like 1 minute ??

When we’ve gone forward there’s been movement, players getting in the box and if not for a last ditch flick from Ake, Kane was in. Son’s also had a chance and then there’s the two goals.

City have only had 1 more shot than us and we’ve had 1 more on target.

I know Emerson isn’t good enough, especially for Conte’s system, but why people boo him I don’t know. Look at him busting a gut to make up 50 yards for his goal. Gives 100% and should always be supported for that

Have we even been good? I honestly can’t tell. I know we haven’t been bad. Really odd match. I know if City play like that second half we could score a bunch more.
Yes, we created chances from some pressing and even some practiced attacking patterns (like that actions with Perisic crossing and nearly finding Kane). Would be better if Son was good and if Dier, Davies and Lloris were less crazy in defense. Another night and Haaland scores 2 goals but I basically forgot that Grealish and Alvarez are playing.

If we can win the champions, the scum can similarly lose to any one else. Still so much to play for.
Genuinely can’t get angry about Arsenal winning the league. Means there’s hope for us all

City buying Haaland and not winning the league would be hilarious

Our first goal highlights exactly what we’ve been missing without Bentancur in the side. His high pressing is so valuable in creating chances.

Was doing my back exercises from the docs so I decided to turn the game on. Was in the middle of reps of the superman stretch when we scored twice, nearly done myself an injury in disbelief when I keeled over ?

Fair play to Emerson, fuck me I have to say it.

Team fighting hard.

Davies and Dier both with 1 huge mistake, don't forget. Lloris also once being too late.
So nothing new, we all know the weaknesses.

Other than that I am happy with performance. Good half!

Fuck tactics and formations, this is what football is all about. Kane is so multi-dimensional, they should write sci-fi stories about him!
WellLlllllll about ten years back I did randomly pick a name for a character in my novel Sunfail, wanting it to sound quintessentially English… hence erm, some kid in the academy who was never gonna be a star was picked… and Harry Kane became an assassin in a post apocalyptic novel haha

So... all looking forward to seeing De Bruyne , Cancelo, Silva and Foden come on in the second half....

Now I'd love Harry to notch then just stop still and raise his arms in glory while staring back at Haaland lol

How the hell are we 3 points off second?

Honestly, if Conte got some key positions sorted, players in and players stayed fit, we could push for a high finish
