We only persist with Winks because he’s a youth product and the illusion that ‘he makes us tick’. He really doesn’t and is a passenger 8 out of 10 games. Not physical/strong enough to be a central midfielder.

We only persist with Sissoko because of that purple patch last season that is well and truly behind him. For all his physical attributes, he lacks the awareness and passing ability to be central midfielder.

If your midfield can’t step up and boss the game, you’re in trouble. And it has been proven time and time again that the Winks/Sissoko combo can’t dominate the midfield.

Yep, as always. Still Alli is compared to Lampard. Sickening really.

Winks, Sissoko, Alli - while we have Eriksen, Ndombele and Lo Celso on the bench.
I love Dele but everything shouldn't be geared towards him playing well.

We're sacrificing a man in the middle of the park to have him playing basically as a striker.

Shit performance people, but seriously, chill out a bit, we're gonna get a few more games like this whilst Jose sorts out the wheat from the chaff in his mind! The squad is a bit of a car crash at the moment and major surgery is needed after serious trauma. I honestly don't think we're going to see anything like Jose's 'team' until this time next season!

What was up with Kane also, because that was a frankly miserable effort. Too many of these matches when we're under the cosh where he just tamely trots around the pitch.

Compared to the one that turned up against Wet spam.

Sissoko ain’t good enough. Literally played RB and left Winks in there on his own. Son and Kane dog shit. Hardly any players over to the fans after the game and now a 4.5hr drive home to Bournemouth absolutely love it

Put Aurier, Sissoko and Sanchez in a team managed by Klopp or Pep and they would still all be crap. They cannot cope when pressure is applied. Silly mistakes over and over again.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

But, but, but. Jose is a born winner (copywright numerous people on here).

it won’t be a popular opinion on here, but hose is a busted flush. He’s out sold Levy. Levy’s had a hard on for him for ages, and hose has just ridden him like seabiscuit.
How about - a radical suggestion - instead of people building him up or knocking him down, we allow him a little bit of time and withold judgment? Call me crazy.

Wow we win 3 on the bounce and after what was admittedly a poor performance people are already questioning Jose and whether he's going to become the ManU grumpy fuck. I know things have been shite for a while but some people need to get a fucking grip. He's a very good manager but he isn't turning us into Liverpool in 2 weeks ffs.

@RikkiRocket how is a post about the match in a match thread spam exactly? You know what spam means right?

(incoming spam ratings but that shit bugs me more than it should)

Edit: and he's gone on ignore.

They played like fucking strangers. After so long together they built no chemistry at all. Might as well play Aurier and Sissoko in CM.

And as CMs they are always leaving the midfield so damn exposed.

That’s a very worrying game. No desire, no intensity.

The new manager bounce already over?
